According to him, the current labour unions' strike and the series of recorded cases of corruption, coupled with the various dubious contracts being awarded by government through parliament are similar cases that can trigger an uprising.

They have developed “yentie obia” attitude as they can always have their way through their dubious deals with a backing from the majority in Parliament to suppress the suffering masses. They feel they have the majority in Parliament to pass any bill that addresses their interest than Ghanaians.

“Ghanaians are watching how a Chinese bus which cost $70,000 is being sold to us at the cost of $270,000; they are watching how one particular company has been awarded all the construction contracts at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Tamale Airport and Kasoa interchange and yet there is no transparency”, he warned.

Chief, I agree with you that a new ministry is not required to deal with the energy crisis. Instead, the President should have sacked the minister for Energy who has failed and is incompetent. All what is required is effective and efficient Energy Minister with one deputy who will be responsible for power generation and distribution. How can there be separate ministries for Energy and Power? Is power not part of Energy? Waste of scarce resources.

The President should have sacked the MD of ECG long time ago also for incompetence. Until Mahama takes on incompetent ministers and heads of public institutions, his presidency will fail abysmally.

It is a pity to think that people one think in our soceity will know better are the fools but when one points that he has offened GOD , they say. We as a nation must stand by telling the truth and know that we have acted foolishly for a long time and time has cought us this time because we want to move forward and at this time we need the power to make things work.
I want the OTABIL, OFORI-ATTA and the rest who alway talk about vision and that we need a visioney leader, are they themselfe? or they think because they are living on the poor who feed them only to preach to them on sundays?
We must grow up and start to educate our society about the waste we create by having our tvs on while we are sitting outside talking and our fans on when we are not in the room, to save power, this this what we need from these so called men of GOD , and stop blaming any body for not been able to slove our many problems, what are they doing than thinking of how much collection they can have after the church sevice.
Pity that these people are looked at as people who know better but if one start to think as human really they are just people who want to live better .
This is my challange to all the so called our men of GOD in AFRICa to stand up and tell the truth that they are all thieves living on the sweat of the poor and the fools in our society .

What should be the minimum requirement when recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??

Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.

GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.

Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

What is the meaning of what the Akyem Bishop is saying? A listening President? Talk to your Assembly member, MP or Regional Minister or other Minister? Why the President?

How can we have peace stability and freedom when the government refuses to pay suppliers for goods supplied since Dec 2013. Cant pay children s school fees utility bills etc. What kind of governance is this???
