THAT CLUELESS, VISIONLESS AND USELESS NDC PARTY ONLY CREATES PROBLEMS FOR OTHERS TO SOLVE. UNFORTUNATELY, MOST GHANAIANS DON'T REALISE THAT THEY ARE ONLY GOOD AT SENDING GHANA TO HIPIC. THE CROP OF THEIR CURRENT POLITICIANS ARE VERY CERTAIN OF ONE THING, THEY ARE THERE TO LOOT AND SHARE STATE RESOURCES AND PRACTICE CORRUPTION TO THE MAXIMUM. HENCE, THE REASON WHY THEY HAVE SWEPT THAT 'ANNOYING SLOGAN' UNDER THE CARPET. THEIR CONSCIENCE WILL NOT LET THEM USE THAT SLOGAN ANYMORE, BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE GHANIANS EVEN MORE ANGRY.
WELL, LET ME GO DOWN ON MY KNEES AND SAY A PRAYER FOR GHANA:
O Lord I pray for Mother Ghana, that you reduce the number of FOOLISH VOTERS in 2016. Father the small number that will be left, wash their faces with sea sand so that they would be able to see the predicament they have put Ghana in through their foolish action, and change for the better. I pray that you let them vote this USELESS and CLUELESS GOVERNMENT out. Let those who these FOOLISH VOTERS envy because they are prospering as a result of which they vote foolishly so that they will be equal with them prosper even more. Father let those who are sympathetic to these USELESS VOTERS stop giving them money when they come begging, so that they will realize 'Ghana is hard', and vote wisely this time round. Lord, there are too many office to office beggars in Ghana, that is a sign of poverty, kick those who encourage this out of office. Merciful Father, too many FOOLISH VOTERS who have no sense of dignity are rewarded with trips to soccer matches only to go and sleep on the floor in foreign land, and eventually seek asylum, stamp that disgraceful spirit out of Ghana. Lord, you have blessed us with everything that can make us rich, but you seemed to have forgotten to protect mother Ghana from greedy politicians and thieves; we call on you to rise and let these nation wreakers scatter in 2016. Amen

How to stop Corruption
1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
3. Put ethical persons in positions of power,
4. yearly revenue audits brief
5.NPP: Narcotic Peddlers Party, NDC: Niggas Deep in Corruption
NDC: adum a dum dum b3 gyae! Muahahahahaaaaaaa
NDC has ruled ghana more than any political party since 1957.

I really like what this man has said about our leaders and our young democracy. Please take your time to read the following piece:
What do we have? A democracy that is designed to keep everything about officialdom in the darkest part of the alley. How much is our President paid a month and how much tax does he pay? How about the Vice President and other government officials being supported by the ordinary tax-payer?
Information about such issues is regarded as top secret!! Why should it be so? Just because it is not what our democracy is designed to help the people know so they can appreciate governance as responsible citizens. The lid is kept tight on such issues because nobody in authority wants the citizens to be well-informed so as to do critical assessment of issues. Keeping them in the dark is good for those who profit from this kind of democracy. That is why passing the Right to Information bill into law is dragging on.
As I have kept saying all this while, no democracy can endure without public funds; and those who have access to such funds are required to account for their stewardship so the citizens whose sweat, blood, and tears feed the national coffers can monitor how public funds are spent. Anything short of that will demoralize the citizens and spawn rebellion.
Why is it that nothing is told the citizens about how much money is being spent on all the foreign engagements of the President and high-ranking government officials? Of course, they don’t bear the cost. It is the citizens who do so. Thus, why not tell them how much money goes where at which time so they can become informed to act responsibly? Nobody in authority will do so because much water has to pass under the bridge for them to live their lives in comfort. That is what our kind of democracy offers them.
And this kind of democracy being practised in Ghana cannot help us develop our country. It will only provide a safe haven for self-seekers to be cushioned while the millions of citizens killing themselves to sustain the democracy sink further down into narrow circumstances. Pathetic.
That is why they are not bothered about the weakening of our institutions of state because they profit from such inadequacies. If they didn’t, they would gear up to retool those institutions for them to perform their legitimate functions to keep them on their toes. They know how to keep those institutions on their leash for personal comfort. That is why despite being practised for 22 years now, our democracy is still wobbling and hobbling.
Let nobody tell me that there is stability and that general elections have been conducted for governments to be changed. This kind of ritual is sterile and dangerous because it misrepresents reality. The citizens are compelled to exercise their franchise because they are still not sure whether abandoning this democracy will be a better solution to the country’s problems of under-development. They won’t certainly welcome the military toads; thus, why not stick to the devil that they know and damn the angel lurking at the fringes? But this situation itself is dangerous.
When the citizens seek only the political kingdom and nothing is added to it, they become disaffected for the devil to give jobs to. Such jobs include anti-social activities such as selective sabotage, plain criminal activities like armed robbery, murder, and what-have-you? Is that what we are nurturing our democracy to produce?
Can our leaders ever learn to do the right thing so we can all work together to grow our democracy for it to serve our collective purposes? I wonder; I really wonder!
I shall return…

To apply the law means we are confined with the rules and the youths learn the law to become good citizens. HORRIBLE INDEED! TODAY, PEOPLE OPENLY MENTION TRIBES AND INSULT THEM, HAVING NO SENSE WHAT TRIBAL DISCRIMINATION DOES TO THE UNITY OF A COUNTRY. Until people like you, 'SHOESHINE BOYS', (you seem to reason like one) stop openly discriminating against other tribes, I will not stop tagging you as FOOLISH VOTERS AND FOLLOWERS. Unfortunately, there seemed to be NO SENSIBLE POLITICIAN TO DISCOURAGE THIS EVIL PRACTICE, THEY ARE HAPPY ABOUT IT RATHER, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY RIDE ON TO POWER. PITCH ON ONE TRIBE AGAINST THE OTHER. FOOLISH NDC PARTY. Since they are not there for the interest of Ghana but themselves.
ASIEDU NKETIA HAS ADVISED NDC DELEGATES NOT TO DEMAND MONEY FROM CANDIDATES ASPIRING FOR POSITIONS TO COVER EXPENSES BEFORE VOTING FOR THEM. DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM HERE? EVEN PARTY DELEGATES?
Pause and reflect on what influence your decision on who you vote for. If your decision is influenced by the APPEARANCE of a candidate and not his/her COMPETENCE, you are a FOOLISH VOTER. If you are someone who is fond of exchanging your VOTE for a GIFT, you are a FOOLISH VOTER. If you don't care about who you vote for, all that matters is that he belongs to the party you like, you are also a FOOLISH VOTER. Finally, if your vote is influence by TRIBAL AFFILIATION, you are a VERY FOOLISH VOTER. Remember, your action affects all of us. THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE

The president has said many times that he had tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.
This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling nation.
Why would Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

The indemnity clause was not for only Rawlings. It was for all who might have been part of the many Military Coups and could have been tried for all kinds of excesses.
More, it was supposed to be a compromising feature to prevent future vengeful schemes by others who may be in Power.
We must also not overlook the significance of the acts of those who opposed Rawlings to have his programs fail.
Honestly, it is wrong for us to think that our recalcitrant opposition to change that makes us go back to our corrupt behaviors necessarily renders any past anti-corrupt programs a failure. If the same program had still been in force and people then boldly and insensitively went back to that practice, then could we say the program did not work.
The program under Rawlings was effective but only for the period that that program was in force. It was not the only way for us to change. It was only one way. But it did lack the attribute of continuity which subsequent Governments which were Democratic could not endorse for its harsh nature.
It failed because folks that thought of that Rawlings program as unacceptable were only waiting for the opportunity to return to Corruption. The subsequent Governments did not provide any effective alternative and allowed the corruption to return.
So, let us give credit where due. People stopped corruption under AFRC because they feared the harsh and swift repercussions. Therefore the program worked, then. It did not have a staying power because of its endemic human rights concerns that offered the later Governments excuse for totally discontinuing it and any other serious program to stop the corruption.
The fact that some people would always repeat some crime does not mean we should stop regulating to stop crimes. We must be serious about corruption. We may even have to stretch the human rights compliance further to the brink to control it.
We often cite Singapore for its Economic success to bring our failure into focus. What we fail to do is acknowledge that it has one of the most stringent Law enforcement with regard to Corruption. The penalty for that is one of the harshest in the World. Singapore never had a Military dictatorship. But its Civilian Dictatorship did all it could to keep the people in line, except using the guns to threaten them. Singapore has one of the swift Capital punishment program still in use. Many people still get the death penalty for drug crimes, for instance.
To sum up, we need harsh penal measures to effectively combat corruption. Period!!

Ocquaye's piece provides the answer to your question as to whether J. J. had any anti-corruption program or not. I need not answer that.
However, you seem to have overlooked the fact that I mentioned that subsequent Regimes following the inception of the "Probity and Accountability" principle as an anti-corruption tool all failed to continue it for one reason or another, and that would include Rawling's own Regime that came later.
You should not forget that it was the AFRC that emerged upon the scene with that mantra for a reason to take over Power. The AFRC era, albeit the horrors of excesses, saw a curtailing in corruption, even though transiently matching its tenure. We cannot deny that. Neither can we deny the atrocities of needless killings and corporal punishment without due process. While I am not for undue process and executions for perceived corruption, I strongly favor maximum legal penalty that effectively deters potential culprits and sufficiently punishes the guilty.
Now, after moving away from that AFRC era, could our subsequent Regimes learn anything from the practice the AFRC subjected us to for ensuring Corruption stayed abated? I think the answer is 'Yes'. But the Regimes dwelled solely on the excesses of the AFRC methodologies to totally ignore the whole exercise against Corruption, conveniently citing only any breach of Civil or Human Rights.
Well, the Regimes could have come out with alternative effective solutions but they never did. Ocquaye was part of the System and one of the Regimes that could have seriously researched what worked on the AFRC era to offer the transient compliance to order needed to curb corruption at that time.
The sale of State Assets, including Industries, to cronies was done under the guise of the Divestiture prescription by the IMF/World Bank that we privatize all Government Businesses. All the Regimes could be cited to have committed that crime against us, not only Rawlings's, even though his is most conspicuous because of the attention he had led to bring to the "Probity and Accountability" principle.
What I attempted to portray in my earlier comment was not to exonerate Rawlings but to show that even if he did hypocritically perpetrate the very crime we heard him preach against, the other Regimes did not do much differently to nudge us into the proper, orderly groove where Corruption could have been minimized.
That is why I cited Singapore's experience with curbing corruption for an example that our subsequent Civilian Regimes could have learnt from, vis-à-vis the often-cited comparison of our two Economies.
I wish you had read my piece well enough and not let your pent-up negative emotions against Rawlings to impede your further analysis of what I wrote. We cannot always dump all our current failures on just that one errant leader. Nothing prohibits us from correcting ourselves now or any point after his era. What I detest, also, is the fact that some Politicians, like Ocquaye, simply invoke the pains of the past to drive some portions of the Population, who might not have access to the pertinent facts, against their opponents but fail to provide any constructive alternative to solving our Corruption crisis. Ocquaye had his chance under the Kufuor Administration to make permanent inroads into the corruption canker that was still around but only thinly covered with faux-legalities but he did nothing significant to help. He should check with Haruna Esseku to have a first-hand information of that fact, if he would play blind to the existence of corruption in his Regime, as well. Talk about Vodafone, the overnight emergence of some shady Businesses that won no-bidding contracts, the instantaneous transformation of raggedly bankrupt family members of high-ups into multi-millionaires, etc. And now, the idiotic flagrant show-offs of opulence by Mahama's brother as in his purchase of a private Jet, while still owing the Merchant Bank that was going bankrupt. Woyomegate, SADA, GYEEDA, ISOFOTON, etc.!! The list is endless. If Rawlings' efforts at curbing corruption failed, it was partly due to his hypocrisy and partly due to the passivity, if not similar connivance, of the likes of Ocquaye.
What I was eluding to in my comment was that we should be thinking of how to legally mete out the harshest penalty for Corruption in Ghana. I had, in a previous comment, suggested that our Corrupt leaders ought to be sent to the Hague for committing crimes against our Humanity. That is because the corruption that they are suspected of being part of has led to the irreversible destruction and even deaths of many of our fellow Citizens. Additionally, I did suggest in the same breath that the indemnity offered J. J. and his bunch and all subsequent Heads of State should have been limited to the time of the Coups, if we really wanted to even the field and offer a blank, clean sheet for fairness in instilling accountability and probity in the Nation. We should have only forgiven whatever heinous atrocities of the Coup era by any one involved in that system. But we should have been prosecuting, to the fullest extent of the Law, any such person, if he or she broke our Laws after that period. That means, Rawlings could have been paraded before the Courts for any crimes, including corruption, that he might have committed after the cyclical Coup era.
Right now, our Presidents, enjoying that indemnity seem to have free, open-ended course to loot us, if they so desire, without any legal consequence other than being voted out of Office. That, to me, is insufficient deterrent or Justice for the crimes they would be committing to decimate our lives.
Long Live Ghana!!!

Berko I have read many a post by you, and this is definitely unlike you. Say you don't mean what you wrote or it ain't so. If you actually believe Rawlings' so-called anti-corruption rhetoric, which really meant corruption by a few insiders was good for us then I have no choice but to align you with the frustrated academics who provided a pseudo intellectual basis for his unfortunate rule.
Have you soon forgotten the Kangaroo courts set up to expedite riddance of perceived enemies of the revolution ? How come Rawlings, a leader buttressed by the goodwill of the populace, gifted with charisma, eloquence and steadfastness to iron fist rule, could not eliminate corruption ? The reason is, he and his cohorts morphed into the criminals they claimed to be after. Since they were the judge and jury, checks and balances were literally thrown out the door. Does "Animal Farm" ring a bell ? Nothing can convince me that Rawlings and his cronies did not become corrupt in the end. We are aware of his financial position before and after his rule, and his salary alone during his almost 20 year rule cannot support the lifestyle he leads today.
If Rawlings finds it hard to move past his anti-corruption ideas, in the early days of his so-called revolution, I wish to make it clear to anyone who cares to listen that Ghanaians have come to realize that he who shouts the loudest in the game of politics almost always has a hidden agenda.Put simply the Ghanaian "pull him down" attitude kicks in when they want a piece of the action.
In the end we-the electorate, must demand accountability of our elected officials because they work for us and not the other way round.

An old preacher was dying. He sent a message for his IRS agent and his Lawyer (both church members), to come to his home. When they arrived, they were ushered up to his bedroom. As they entered the room, the preacher held out his hands and motioned for them to sit on each side of the bed. The preacher grasped their hands, sighed contentedly, smiled and stared at the ceiling. For a time, no one said anything. Both the IRS agent and Lawyer were touched and flattered that the old preacher would ask them to be with him during his final moment. They were also puzzled because the preacher had never given any indication that he particularly liked either one of them. Finally, the Lawyer asked, "Preacher, why did you ask the two of us to come?"
The old preacher mustered up some strength, then said weakly, "Jesus died between two thieves, and that's how I want to go, too.

My first time observing Rawlings' AFRC/P-NDC gov't was a big shock to me. Just new from school and teaching, I saw how Rawlings' Commandos would take out people in the middle of the night and send them to the Castle and Gonda Barracks, some never to be seen again.
There was so much cruelty and hate in Ghana that one had to thank the Lord each day for being alive and seeing a new day. PDCs, WDCs and CDRs were given authority to break into people's homes, shops and businesses; they were ruthless---they didn't respect authority---molesting people, slapping and beating up everyone who dared to demand answers to their dirty operations. Rawlings' PDCs CDRs seized Gas Stations and commanded the sale of petroleum products making sure they profited their operations, as they would keep most of the fuel in the tanks and sell them at exorbitant prices, although they preached about selling fuel and related products at "control prices" beating drivers, some whom had been in a long queue for many days and nights. Rawlings always commended them for a good job done!
God only knows what went on at the Castle as many people arrest and sent there were shaved with broken glasses, tortured and brutalized by Rawlings' personal security. They would come to homes asking for the where-about of their target people, and when asked why they're being wanted their reply was always: "it's order from above" or meaning the Castle demands their arrest.
Rawlings asked why some Ghanaians---probably the Kuffour and Akufo-Addo families---could send their children abroad to study, while others could not. It turned out he sent children too to study in the UK. Such is a covetous and envious man who led a gang of military-cum civilians to rule Ghana in the name of a "revolution" killing innocent Ghanaians arresting and chasing some out of the country, into exile.

Prof. Quaye sometimes amazes me about the way he sees things, reasons and talks, especially considering the fact that he was a professor and a first deputy speaker of Ghana's Parliament. He reasons and talks as if he's deeply ignorant about things happening around him and about those going on in the country in general.
Fact is, President Kufuor was the most corrupt president Ghana has so far had. There're numerous instances one can cite about his corrupt practices. For example, as soon as he became president, he used Ghanaian tax payers money to renovate his private house when he became president; just within his first term, a poor ordinary man like him was able to purchase an expensive hotel (Hotel Kufuor) under one of his son's name; he allegedly took a $30 million bribe from Vodafone to whom he cheaply sold GhanaTelecom for $90 million, thus rejecting a bid from South Africa whose offer was more than 300% better than Vodafone's, except that he knew he couldn't get the bribe money---afteer all, how does a country's president go to England to meet with a telecommunication company's executives to personally negotiate the sale of his country's company? (One should recall that upon the assumption of the presidency, the late Prof. Mills appointed a commission to investigate the sale of GhanaTelecom which commission concluded that the sale by the Kufuor administration was indeed tainted with corruption); Kufuor's NPP party and administration were deeply involved in illicit drug trafficking; indeed he and his top party and government officials knew of recent ex-con Eric Amoateng's drug trafficking business, for he was said to be the financier of the NPP party. When a boat carrying loads of cocaine was arrested and the cocaine was deposited at the Police headquarters in Accra, it simply disappeared and some of the missing cocaine were traced to the Asantehene's palace. Then in fooling Ghanaians, Kufuor appointed a so-called commission of inquiry to investigate how the cocaine got missing, making Georgina Wood its chair. This NPP woman then declared the commission's investigation to be inconclusive. Kufuor was so pleased with this lady's work that he immediately promoted her over and above all her seniors at the Supreme Court to the position of Chief Justice, thus saving Kufuor himself, his Asante Inspector-General of Police, the Asantehene and the NPP party as a whole.
One cannot forget that it was Kufuor who had announced that corruption had been in existence since the time of Adam and therefore it couldn't be stopped.
The above are only a few examples of Kufuor's corrupt dealings. Where were you, Prof. Quaye?

Indeed, anybody with a smidgen of political interest who has followed the evolution of the Jeremiah John Rawlings "probity and accountability" ballyhoo operating on the PNDC platform, and now, it's transmogrified version, that is the NDC party, would attest to the fact that, it was a thieving cult, indeed, a looting and thieving religion with "lets go to antoa nyama for the truth" as the rallying cry for absolute and unadulterated thievery, breeding disciples, apostles, deacons, choirmasters, high priests, canons, elders and servers of the indoctrination of political looting and thievery, corrupt to the core looting vagabonds, burying the country in the abyss.
There was just not any probity and accountability, and by the time the masses woke up to the realization that, it was all a bunch of malarkey, the sheer thievery and looting and legendary corruption had reached it's apogee, with the principal leaders of such thievery now, proclaiming that, "it has reached epidemic proportions". Indeed, the supposed Founder of this religion had cause to state that, the principles of looting and thievery amongst his disciples had indeed, gone overboard, and Ghana was headed for the abyss.
Today, the wife of the Founder of the cult of thievery and looting which operated under the banner of "probity and accountability" is in court, to seek to claim ownership of some 500 purported shares in GREL(Ghana Rubber Estates Limited) with the current Chairperson of the Council of State, going to court to witness the bizarre circumstances surrounding the ownership of the shares at the center of this case.
Clearly, there was no "probity and accountability" for it to have even failed in the first place, but an ill-conceived, reckless, treasonous, lawless and brazen looting and thieving cult, whose sole aim and purpose was to thieve the natural resources and purse of the country bonkers.
Ghana is currently reeling from one of the ardent disciples of this looting and thieving cult/religion, whose actions have led the Chief Justice of the country, to state that, the level of zealousness of the principles of looting and thievery burying the country in the absolute doldrums, had reached a tipping point.
Such is the state of the country under that discredited "probity and accountability" ballyhoo.
It cannot be stressed hard enough that, until the offshoot of that PNDC cult of looting and thievery ie the NDC gov't led by John Mahama is massively voted out, Ghana is going nowhere in it's development efforts, and that is the hard straight facts.

35 years ago, the Rawlings reign of terror was at its onset and it appeared well-intended to many Ghanaian onlookers. The faux pas was called a social revolution and its principal actors appealed for the support and sympathy of the millions of suffering Ghanaians by identifying themselves with their poverty and deprivations by wearing shoes made out of old car tyres and euphemized as "Afro Moses, Jesus is a soul man ". The revolutionary era was inter-spersed with sermons by Rawlings on Probity , Transparency and Accountability which made some skeptical ghanaians to believe that a new era had dawned in our political life.
When they were prematurely retired in 1992 the so-called revolutionaries had become filthy rich owning businesses, mansions and an array of very expensive cars. Beside these, the nouveaux riches sent their kids away to the most expensive Ivy League colleges in the US & UK to be educated and were often seen in public sporting designer suits and shoes. What a way to end a social revolution! Secretly, they envied the rich and wealthy they loathed so much and whom they impoverished or murdered and seized their properties.
There are valid reasons to suggest that Rawlings era corruption, graft, greed, lies and propaganda, violence, the abandonment of courtesy, politeness and respect for the elderly as ghanaian values, rudeness, the introduction of insults and vulgarity as the new order of ghanaian pop culture, and the disregard for the rule of law and order were the political and social antecedents of the present day NDC failures and mismanagement of the economy .

Jerry Rawlings used probity and accountability to suppress and intimidate Ghanaians, whilst he and his wife looted from the state coffers to secure the future of his family. And that is exactly what all NDC appointees are emulating. This accounts for the massive corruption in the current NDC government.
Just make a tour of the country, and you will see the number of Fuel Filling Stations springing up in the country. The NDC appointees are investing in the fuel business, and that is why they are reluctant to reduce fuel prices, when a barrel of crude oil is about $50. in the world market.
Just take a look at the picture of Jerry Rawligs in 1979, during his wee smoking days, and look at him now, you will see the extent he benefited from his bogus and self seeking revolution.
I think Ghana needs a better revolution than what happened in 1979. If you compare the corruption in Ghana in 1979, which Jerry Rawlings took advantage to disturb the democratic political situation in the country against what is happening now under Rawlings' NDC party, the 1979 situation was a bagatelle.
Politicians are milking the country in the name of democratic governance, and if this looting is all that democratic governance is about, then we don't need it.
People in governance must account properly for their stewardship, and put a stop to the looting spree in the NDC government.
Ghana is in a mess because any idiot gets up and becomes a politician overnight. You don't need to attend an interview to become a politician, and so all sorts of people are abandoning their professional career to enter politics to get rich quick.
Politicians don't deserve respect, and should never be accorded respect. They must be told in no uncertain terms that they are all criminals, and the only thing they deserve is nothing but imprisonment for the robbery being committed against the state.
Rawlings revolution was an expression of disillusionment by indian hemp smokers who constituted the 1979 military junta. They had impaired vision of the political situation in the country at that time, ,and that accounts for the failure of the much trumpeted probity and accountability nonsense.
The period from 1979 to 1992 was wasted effort. Ghana does not need people who would just make the effort, what the country needs are people who are results oriented, like J A Kufour.
Ghanaians were just not lucky, for I think JAK came to be president too early. He should have come after Jerry Rawlings and John Mahama to save Ghanaians from this one step forward, and two steps backwards the country is experiencing now.
So far John Mahama has not introduced a single social intervention policy that is beneficial to all Ghanaians. It is so so hardships, create loot and share for the NDC party faithfuls. He has only succeeded in dividing the country along party lines, with his winner take all agenda.
As for the cocaine business, the least said about it the better. It is obvious that the NDC government cannot survive without the cocaine business, and the arrest of Ruby is only a temporary setback. If they cannot take the cocaine by air, they will this time around, go by sea. It is a do and die affair for the NDC party, and nothing can stop them.
If you are a cocaine baron, then they do everything to ensure you are elected to serve at the national level. You must be conversant with the rules of the game to be retained. If you can't do the business to put money in the party coffers, then forget it. The party must survive is the clarion call.

When JJ Rawlings came to the political scene in Ghana, he never proved himself accountable BECAUSE HE WAS BROKE AND AS POOR AS CHURCH MOUSE.
All that he did was to STEAL from the STATE COFFERS. Rawlings is branded CHIEF THIEF BECAUSE at the time he handed over to the late Dr. Hilla Limann, how much money did he leave in the COFFERS at the BANK OF GHANA?
I wonder why people with wisdom and know how will revere CHIEF THIEF JJ Rawlings.
Rawlings has killed many innocent Ghanaians. As a result, his hands are tainted with the BLOOD OF FELLOW GHANAIANS some of who were missing from their homes overnight.
