It is unfortunate Nana Addo is trying to claim Free SHS as his brainchild without attributing to the Constitution. And that is plagiarism if you use someone else's ideas without attribution. A politician stealing other people's ideas is dishonest and corrupt. Thus Nana Addo is a capital corrupt person. Worse still he is being funded by drug barons. As soon as I heard this I cried with joy and said: "You can't keep a good man down! No matter how long you oppress him, his ideas will eventually emerge and prevail." The visionaries who suggested these ideas 60 years ago were called names, persecuted and ended up in jail dead or alive. The lucky ones barely escaped with their lives to continue the fight elsewhere in exile. After trumpeting it wasn't possible to implement free without reference to the constitution as they claim now, they want to take credit for it. however, lets all wait and see how it goes. What has happened to NYEP? They turned it into a looting brigade by renaming it GYEEDA. they have destroyed FMD (free maternal delivery), School Feeding, NHIS, Metro Mass, Cocoa spraying, Oil etc. They should cut the cheese and call themselves National Destructive Company.

If you have a message,a plan or a policy and you cannot define it,defend it and articulate it properly then it tells the kind of weak conviction you have.NPP does not know how to campaign effectively.Free shs exits in Ghana already but it is not universal,only certain percentage of the population have been benefiting from it since 60s.It does not make any political sense for Nana Addo to pretend to be the brain child of free shs.Mind you,in the 60s even university was free of charge and students were paid allowances.I think that is why the electorates rejected Nana Addo.They saw the candid display of dishonesty in him.The fact of the matter is that the electorates did not vote for NDC because of free shs.NDC took an honest stand stipulated in the 1992 constitution that the free shs should be done progressively.Looking at our present educational structures any reasonable person will agree with NDC's position.Thank you.

Shouting mendaciously with palpable arrogance will never help to solve problems in the country. Ghana's opposition parties, for their lack of talents make such cretaceous noise every day. I think with this kind of pervasive attitude, the ember will continue to glow.
The politicians are not the only people who speak with free flying colors. Ghanaians are found of making unsubstantiated pronouncement in public. Yet they look serious when they make them.
The media department is worse when it comes to flying commentary on issues or the individuals. They have this sarcastic mint on editorializing or broadcasting news from the thin air.
The idea of free secondary education is nothing but a raunchy joke. And it also painted a picture with insults on the Ghanaians. This is why the public negative perception for our politicians is very low. When a public officials stands in-front of you and tell a liar why wouldn't they be force to think you are stealing from them.
FRREE HIGH SCHOOLING sounds pleasant into the ears and eyes, but the truth is that there is no party in Ghana which can successfully.

What our nation needs right now is a completely new vision of high schooling.
Because they have become obsolete. They are far out of sync with the demands of our fledgling democracy and a global economy.

What we need right now are SMALL, PERSONAL educational settings with a maximum of under just 100 students per class, where the anonymity and incoherence of large high schools are replaced by small schools with a powerful sense of community and a strong commitment to academic rigour.

Majority of Ghanaian parents want their kids to be engaged in rigorous, relevant, and challenging courses of study that will prepare their kids for work and college.

The erroneous assumption both Mahama and Akufo Addo are making is that Ghanaian parents are so poor that they can use 'free SHS' education
