In Ghana and the world over everybody knew the late president was not killed by anybody but if they want to tell us somebody killed him then they who surrounded him are the killers but not Kofi Adams or any other person.
They suspended Kofi Adams for that tape but failed to prove he was the one on the tape and brought him back so why will anybody in his right mind still be talking about something you have not been able to prove.
Nobody in NDC killed Mills,he died as a result of his illness.

What is this man insinuating? He is old enough to know better. When did any desire or wish for someone we do not support, politically, to lose the chance to run again a crime?

If anyone said that he/she would do whatever was possible to ensure another person served only one term in Office, it does not necessarily suggest that the former wanted the latter dead. Boateng Gyan is only playing into the long existing spurious claim by the Opposition that President Mills was murdered. Let anyone who has the proof lay it out, or forever quit that public embarrassment of themselves. Any existing recording of any statement that does not specifically call for or suggest directly the killing of Mills is uselessly refutable in Court, and must be treated with the public disdain as it deserves. It is only in Third World Politics, and especially, Ghanaian Politics, that many take superficial views seriously without further examination.

I know many would liken this innuendo by Boateng Gyan to Akufo-Addo's "all-die-be-die" comment. But there is a big difference in the circumstances and contexts. While Akufo-Addo uttered his comment around two physically violent previous incidents, there doesn't seem to be any such reference of the Gyan's purported claim to any prior violence.

Secondly, Akufo-Addo's utterance was made in conjunction with a tribal assertion that referred to a physical, brawny, fatalistic war-time in the past.

It would have even been different if Mills had no known serious natural health problems. But all the World knew of his terminal cancer and how it deteriorated fast with the burden on his shoulders regarding the Nation's Economy and the Corrupt Officials he was working with, not to mention the very early spate of demeaning ridicule of him by the Opposition. On the very first day of his inauguration, Mills was tagged with an error of enunciation in the English Language as a disparaging nickname to suggest his incompetence.."Econimy, Ecominy..", or something of that nature.. a mispronunciation of the word 'Economy'.

Boateng Gyan must not dare claim anything further than what he said, or he would be in deep legal trouble with his adversaries, and, possibly, forced out of Politics for good.

He cannot use any such recording to prove in Court that the source of that statement is culpable in Mills' death, unless the statement specifically mentioned life-terminal elimination of Mills. Period! Everything else is sheer, wild vicious speculation. If Mr. Gyan claims anything further to imply the source of that statement is complicit in Mills' death, Mr. Gyan would have to be picked up by the BNI to substantiate his claim.

By that statement, Boateng Gyan seems to be one of those Politicians who regard their positions as some family thrones that no one should dare take away. No one in Ghana should think they are indispensable in Politics. And it is almost primitive to even think of one's political opponent as an enemy that deserves to die for contesting against you or your favorite candidate.

This is a big shame to Boateng Gyan! He is only fanning the fire that could devour the NDC for good. He has just offered the NPP a huge gift to campaign on, much to his own disadvantage, whether or not he retains his current status in NDC. What should be at stake is competence and integrity. Not one's life.
