Any Tunisian or Burkinabee-syle revolution in this country will have to start from the parliament as it happened in Burkina Faso. Our parliamentarians are so hopeless that the Executive can easily manipulate them to deplete our coffers or even become dictator. If someone hadn't blown the whistle about the GNPC's $700mln dubious loan, the booty could have been shared and squandered without our notice. And our Parliament should have been at the forefront calling for the CEO to resign.

Obviously, Ghanaians are still not hearing the whole story, and we may never know exactly what the money was going to be used for. We believe that GNPC would have hurriedly approached the parliament for approval, if the massaged justification given by the CEO was really true and the company had nothing to hide.

This whole thing smells like a stinking rot, and the so-called representatives of the people, hired and over paid to examine and authorize expenditure, must live up to expectation and do their work properly. They have a duty to make sure that the dubious loan is either cancelled or used for the intended purpose, and not allow it to go down the drain into the pockets of stomach politicians and their cronies as usual.

There can be only one pathway and God through his servant Dr Kwame Nkrumah has laid it out. Many countries have taken it modified it and have applied it in their economies and is working for them. It is very true that “a prophet is without honour except in his own country” Till today we are still struggling to accept the fact that our pathway of development is what Dr. Nkrumah defined.
You are rather leading and encouraging the masses to agitate against Government because of your political preference. Why are you shouting in the middle of a great storm when Jesus Christ is in our mist? Where is your faith? Is that what the Holy Book teaches us? Why have you joined the band that have never in their lives supported our nation building but have continuously resisted our progress economically because of their parochial interest?
