“In the last six years, the NDC has borrowed US$27 billion. Before that, we, the NPP, borrowed a total of US$5.5 billion in eight years. Compare that to the NDC borrowing $27 billion in six years and ask yourself what they have done with all that money,” the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo said.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

Knowing the NDC PARTY cannot possibly win the elections "create, loot, and share" Mahama is scheming continuously to rob the state; and pass on the repayment to not only living taxpayers, but yet to be born Ghanaian taxpayers as well.
This president is an embarrassment to all Ghanaian who hail from the Northern regions.
The question on the minds of Ghanaians, but not spoken in public is:
"CAN WE AGAIN TRUST A NORTHERNER TO BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF AFTER HILLA-LIMANN AND MAHAMA?"
Ghanaians now ridicule us northerners behind our backs referring to old stigmas that northerners are slaves to BOOZE, SEX, and PIG MEAT !!!
Northerners should not be made to suffer the embarrassment of its elite, but Mahama's outrageous and legendary incompetence is an indictment on all Ghanaians of the northern variety.

In the first place, you are not a northerner so don't pretend you are one. Let me tell you that the so-called 'dumsor-dumsor' is not Prez Mahama's creation. It is actually a problem which has emerged due to past neglect and Prez Mahama is doing all that he can to solve it.

President Mahama is not creating anything to loot. If you have any evidence that some people are creating and looting the nations Treasury, don't hesitate, report them to the law enforcement agents and that will make you a good citizen.

There is nothing wrong when a government borrows money for the purpose of development.Every nation in one way or the other owes other nations and so shall it be till THY KINGDOM COME.

He ought to be listening more to the likes of Mpiani, Dr. Wireko-Brobbey and Dr. Arthur Kennedy. He led the same Akufo-Addo camp before into the Elections and lost. Why would he use the same stale, ineffective tactics, again?

If he goes ahead to use this Cocaine story for his campaign for Akufo-Addo, he could get drowned in similar assault by the NDC, given the already existing story of Akufo-Addo's own involvement with Drugs, be it true or not.

It is simply unwise to fight an opponent on a turf that he or she is more familiar with when you have the option to choose other areas you have better footing in.

I just could easily imagine hearing Asiedu Nketiah chuckle to himself and say quietly, "bring it on, fool, make my day!!"

Meanwhile, it about time Boards of that nature are made to comprise members for all the Political Parties and outsiders as well. The strict partisan membership of Boards do not serve the Nation's best interests.

We have not seen any significant penalties to Officials and Security Agencies, including the Police, whose dereliction of duty or connivance facilitated drug trafficking. The Presidency could have demanded harsher penalties for these negligent personnel in charge of implementing various aspects of our Drug-fighting Laws.

Mpiani is a senior member of the NPP. He was amongst the very 10 men near to the bed-room of power in the Kufuor's government and he knows what he is talking about. He surely, knows how much drugs in general played in the Kufupr's regime. He is not stupid to ignore the at least the public's damaging perception about NPP and cocaine. So he is seriously advising his people in NPP to treat carefully about playing the drug card by falsely associating Mahama's government with drugs. Otherwise
the table would be turned on NPP instead. Like the Woyome case where, every Ghanaian knows that all the big, big men in NPP, NDC, PPP, CPP including friends in high positions, benefited someway or the other from Woyome, yet the NPP due to their political naivity chose to use 'woyome' as a singular agenda for their last campaign and not surprising, lost the election because they, the NPP offered Ghanaians no constructive alternative to NDC. Instead they just embarked on insults, abuses, violence, lies and innuendos, lawlessness and indiscipline behaviour and act. But Ghanaians are too politically aware to be fooled. They will always use their votes to define their level of rights and wisdom.

Folks at the Danquah-Busia-Dumbo tradition or clown can bring the cocaine saga on any day but a little introspection will advice them otherwise. Here is the deal. The UK government, as much as they would like to be involved in Ghana’s internal affairs, is mindful of its own closet skeletons. Do people in the NPP think it is sheer coincidence British officials are talking and or leaking salacious tidbits from this saga but are yet to release passport number country and or date of issue of the so-called diplomatic passport number if it was truly issued in Ghana and by the current administration?

Second the NPP in its limited infinite wisdom cannot point to any NDC card-carrying member in good standing who has been arrested and served jail time in any foreign nation; the same cannot be said of the NPP. In fact it is more likely that most of people claiming and pretending to be businessmen and women in the NPP cannot and may never be able to prove legitimate source for their wealth. We know that most in the NDC are thieves who have consistently, without shame and remorse, cleaned out our national coffers and or given money away to their cronies.

In any society of the world, parties and association where members with bragging rights to money and lifestyle befitting on an elite class almost always engage in the drug trade, money laundering or criminal associations. They also tend to engage in electronic manipulations and or trolling; ask the NPP and they will tell you about all the image/graphic alterations and voice distortions they do to tarnish their opponents.
