This guy's CV is not good enough to handle a National Team like the Black Stars. Chelsea was already a formidable
team on the brinks of winning the champions league when he was made a stand in manager, the two other managerial jobs that he had, failed miserably. What are we trying to prove here, no matter what the black does is not appreciated by their own, what a pity. God bless the Black Man.

They will keep Konadu, whom they're paying $10,000 a month.
If he wins Afcon, they will take him to $30,000 a month, including Nyantakyi's kickback of $10,000 a month.
So Tuntum will keep $20,000 a month, for a total of $240,000 a year, an unbelievable fortune in Ghana.
It's over, my good old friend Avram.
What's this stupidity of paying desperate job-seekers sign-in fees anyway?
Appiah, $102,000 and now Grant, $200,000?
Who are these fools making these decisions to pay?

All these players were trained by local coaches so what is this terrible inferiority complex?
If we lose one tournament so what?
Give our coaches the chance to grow and keep our money here. After all, all the cups we boast of were won by Ghanaian coaches. Idiots!

That is the sad aspect of our thinking as a people. We pump so much into the Black Stars yet have a single trophy to show after 32 years. If rich nations are spending so much on national team handlers, we just want to copy them blindly and foolishly without considering our miserable financial situation. Just take a look at our surroundings especially when it rains, our schools and hospitals and many others. They are simply in horrible conditions yet we find it expedient to spend so much on coaches just because other nations are doing same. Something is basically wrong with us as a people.

GFA can let Maxwell Konadu coach the Black Stars for less less money that they are going to offer Avram Grant and Konadu will do better job than Avram. This coach was chased out of Chelsea when he was the coach because he was a total failure. Why should Ghana go for such a coach. After all his Israeli citizenship bars him entry into Arab countries and Ghana happens to be in Africa with many neighbors from Arabian countries. Let Konadu take the Black Stars to the African cup and he will do better than Avram since Konadu has been with the team for a long time. Avram cannot take just a month to get used to the Black Stars players since the African cup is a little over a month away.

Yes, Konadu, Tetteh and Dramani can take Afcon.

Ironically, the President and others make all the noise about patronizing made-in-Ghana goods and yet pay lip-service to its implementation. A national TV station like GTV just prides itself in showing Nigerian movies daily and we find it ok. Are we so useless as a nation not to have a single competent person to handle our national football team and pay him or her far less than this money we are going to waste?

GFA is not part of the national budget, and you can't use GFA budget to pay nurses or for development projects. Don't confuse the issue. And this should NOT be a campaign for MAXWELL KONADU specifically.

If our brains are working well, what we should do is to empower Maxwell Konadu and his Assistant, Prof Mintah by appreciating them and upgrading their wages. From now till the AFCON 2015, there isn't sufficient time to give the job of coaching the Black Stars to a new coach. Even after AFCON 2015, even if we fail to win it, there is no need to change the coach. It takes more than a good coach to get good results. Take for example what is happening in Manchester United now. Here is a top-notch coach (ie Louis van Gaall) but the good results are not coming. A good team (or a collection of good players) is needed before a good coach can get results. Konadu (or even Kwasi Appiah) is a good coach but the players are not of cup-winning caliber. Even if Jose Mourinho takes the Black Stars to Equitorial Guinea they are not going to win the cup. Our concentration must be on building the team rather than looking for a coach. We have several good coaches here in Ghana. There is little to choose between Konadu and Avram Grant. In other words, what Konadu cannot achieve with the Stars, Avram Grant also cannot achieve.
