Everyday we read negative things about the NDC government just because some few people think that they are in opposition. Do you think that if the NPP comes to power tomorrow, they are going to bread and butter on the plates for everyone? The NDC had been given a mandate so we all must help build the country.

The CSOs are calling for populist economic management. But the wisdoms of the crowds often turn out to be unproductive, if not useless. It's OK for government to listen to the concerns of the citizenry through various fora and channels. It's possible that the CSOs may provide a platform to aggregate these local concerns. But they can also be channels of policy influence for their external financiers.
