What does it say about our continent, when countries with better sustainable economic development and human rights record shy away from representing the continent, and instead leave it up to the country w. one of the worst corruption and human rights records to be the face of the continent. Here is the issue, Eq. Guinea is a corrupt oil nation but the infrastructure is actual very strong. They will use this tournament as a platform to make themselves a tourist destination. Look at some videos on You Tube and you will see tha they have a top end Hilton, Sofitel and other hotels that Ghana does not have. Their weakness is that their stadiums are not world class but to be honest, how many people are realy going to attend? It is difficult and expensive to get there. Generally, they will get a higher income crowd of Africans who live in Europe and want to get away from the cold and watch their teams.

It will take a complete.fscelift,.a 360degree turn around for these other african nations to be able to.host afcon. The planning budgetary monies are not even there to begin with. That's why most sub saharan countries were mim on this whole issue. The risk of EBOLA is not a primary concern.

Also equatorial guinea will be favored to win AFCON 2015. You will see better referring just as what was witness by the match between Ghana and Burkina faso. haha ha . In that match geemeee, geemeee, Ghana failed to capitalize on the referee to win the match . but lost on penalties. If equatorial guinea take their chances well i bet you . caf will hand them the afcon trophy. Ghana should boycot the tournament becos they refuse to host it . And caf should not allow them to be in equatorial guinea if they qualify .
