The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.

Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.

Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.

Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

Any idiot knows no one will entertain the idea of stoning women for adultery and out of a group of over 250 MPs only one has mentioned this. It will not happen in this country. Let's focus on what is actually happening and likely to happen. At the moment Mahama and the thieving Ndc are happy instead of exposing their corruption, we are rather talking about this issue and whether joe adaho should be sworn in again as acting president. Have we resolved the gnpc loan saga, have we retrieved a penny of the woyome money, do we know what the billions of dollars of loans taken by the government have been used for, do we know what the 4 billion budget deficit in the last quarter of 2012 was spent on, are we prosecuting people named in the auditor general report for squandering public funds.
It's ok to sit at an apio bar and discuss joe adaho and stoning but the press should not give time to idiotic public figures who cannot focus on the critical issues
