Commodities are sold expensively from one wise guys, while the same guys find a way to secure the same commodity from the ignorant stupid leaders of a cheap country for their use.. For instance a Texas oil tycoon will sell his oil expensively to other countries who are in dare need of the oil energy for profits, then goes to Ghana with the help of ignorant Ghanaians in diaspora to secure oil productions in Ghana cheaply, for the tycoon use.

In a sense Ghanaians have oil but does not profit them, but the tycoon in Texas. It is somewhat like Kwaku Ananse sharing two loaves of bread with three people. He gave one loaf to the two and ask each to give him half of their loave. Kwaku Ananase finally has full loaf in half pieces.

This is call worldly wise. There is a difference between worldly and earthly. I agree with Justice Emile Short that the language used by GBA was inappropriate but at the same time, it is true that Afari Gyan's credibility was dented and the image of the Electoral Commission tarnished by what was revealed at the SC Presidential Petition hearing. If Afari Gyan could not define over-voting then why is he the Electoral Commissioner?

The GBA erred to have suggested the appointment of a new EC in advance when the existing one retires in 2015. That is against the constitution and it's sad that those who should be defending the constitution sought to undermine it. I hope they have learnt a lesson from this misguided and uncalled action.

Then he turned around and bought/sold the factories to himself, wife and friends -- the sad thing is he and his friends/family are not bright enough to even run the factories so ended up as white elephants. The guy who came to government with nothing and harassed folks with two toilets; ended up with horses, luxury cars/homes (with several toilets, of course), kids education in the West, $4 million from judgement debt, government homes in Ridge and lifelong care from Ghana government. JJ ruled for 20 wasted years, did nothing about rapid urbanization and the growing population in general and now we have insufficient utilities and crowded schools, hospitals etc. JJ please shut up and go sit somewhere because you don't fool anyone sensible.

How different is that going to be with political party followers (those I call FOOLISH FOLLOWERS) strongly stepping in to cover these criminals hiding behind political parties? Wisdom has eluded most Ghanaians to the extent that when a criminal in politics is caught red handed in a crime, REFFERENCE IS MADE TO A SIMILAR CRIME THAT HAS GONE UNPUNISHED (when your party was in power, you did even worse) to justify the present one. This is how far we have lost our conscience. How about those who have nothing to do with any political party, what do you tell them to justify your crime. Until something is done about our constitution to give a little more autonomy to law enforcing agencies to operate without fear of reprisal from the executive branch of government, we will not be able to change much. To see a police man being ordered by the AMA Boss on the street to arrest a driver for tooting his horn, really makes a mockery of law enforcement in Ghana. If those in uniform understand the law properly, they can use their discretion in situations like these. Do you think such a policeman can arrest this AMA boss if he finds himself on the wrong side of the law? Who determines that 'the big man' has broken the law and must be arrested at once? With poverty, unemployment and deliberate attempt by politicians to DIVIDE GHANIANS ON TRIBAL LINES, it will only get worse until these are addressed. I rest my case.

Mahama is just being too diplomatic and people are taking him for being weak. As an Atorney General for 4 solid years what is his track record in the fight against corruption. I can remember him setting one of cocaine king pins in the country free and restoring his confisticated property. And then promoting legislation to bring incarcerated drug barons like Hon MP for Nkoranza, Eric Amoateng from abroad to serve their sentences here in Ghana. If this is not corruption, what else? We are joking, and NPP is muddling the waters in the fight against corruption.

An administration which did exceptionally well to clear the Economic and Financial Mismanagement and Mess, including your Military Junta ,to do the peoples business without committment of the Country to Foreign Loans,IMF etc .
It's Rawlings who has disindustralized Ghana to this day,is the Gospel Truth.
This is the truth devoid of any prejudice whatsoever.For, at the earliest stages of our Democracy, when Rawlings was the President,an international Forum was organized at the then Continental Hotel/ Golden Tulip Hotel,to access the impact of Military Coup's on the African Continent.Ghana was used as a Test Case. It was HELD that,there was No reason for Rawlings to overthrow Dr Limann CPP government,because Dr Limman CPP administration did nothing wrong.And that, the action was borne out of sheer greed.That report was a Front Page coverage in the Nation's prestigious Daily Graphic,Newspaper.

Our customs and tradition strife and struggles to defend its cause but its arms are not puissant enough to face . Thus the people become victims under this dramatic circumstances seeking for anwsers and solutions that are far beyond their proper understanding. AND AS WE GET CLOSER AS UNITED AND A NATION ,THE MORE WE BECOME VICTIMS OF THIS EMPTINESS , THIS VACCUM. And the more we come across selfish ones as leaders, the more this fights intensify, often to the glory of this uneccessary revolution ! It is only fools like jj rawlings who might think to have a solution to this by killings, intimidations whiles he creates wretcheds of himself, products of this vaccum !. The answer lies in our education. The simple understanding of who we are and our biological consciousness as regard to our survival. To our understanding that the industrial revolution upon us might have its good but have corruption as its Ladyboy. Nananom answer is only the best, create corruption as a disgrace coupable of a capital judgement Bannishment just as Humans Sacrifices! but how could this be when their palaces are victims of this Vaccum ? Some few people make the whole Ghanaian populace look uncivilized and with short memories. Right, Rawlings might have had his faults, but can anybody tell us that what is going on in the country now is right? In the 1979 coup, majority of Ghanaians supported Rawlings. Who shouted "Let the blood flow"? Was that blood that of animals,? Who translated J.J. to Junior Jesus?, who organised the students into various supportive demonstrations, leading them to cart locked up cocoa from the hinterland?, etc, etc, etc...Yes Rawlings like every good ruler had his faults, so give him the due respect, otherwise call on the lawyers and the politicians(whom he is reproaching on our behalf) to probe him as he did others. After all he is a common citizen just like you and me now. After all dignitaries like Sarkozy,(France)Olmert,(Israel), Berliscorni(Italy),etc,etc, were probed. If you and your corrupt politicians and lawyers can't , then please shut up, for as Ghana belongs not to Rawlings, so isn't it the property of anyone else. Rawlings has his supporters but civilized ones. He is got every right to opine his ideas. Let's support democracy in a civilized way. Long live Ghana.
