The NPP must accept defeat in the 2012 Elections, and simply settle for revising its strategy for winning the next elections. Afari Gyan is most likely to be out of the EC by the next Elections. So, why use his flaws to characterize Elections that would be held after he is long gone? Such threats by Wontumi must not be allowed on the center stage in the Media, despite our rights to free speech. If NPP won twice in a roll under Kufuor's leadership and Afari Gyan's EC, why should we necessarily claim NPP could win again under the EC with the right leadership?

It is treasonous for someone like this bush-tocrat to be beating the drums for Coup two full years before the next Elections. If this mentality is what the Akufo-Addo crappy leadership is going to guide the NPP with, then the Party is in deep trouble. Meanwhile, we will not hear Akufo-Addo advising his minions to refrain from such dangerous rhetoric because he enjoys the violence associated with that hides behind the likes of Wontumi and the Machete wielding and gun toting goons to grab power with intimidation.

Why did this idiotic Wontumi not reject the results of the NPP Primaries that the EC organized and supervised for the NPP, even after Akufo-Addo blatantly resorted to bribery of the candidates? He better watch how deep a pit he digs for others because it could be his own grave to be buried in it.

Majority of Ghanaians are more intelligent than he is, and we do not need his kind of violent, undemocratic means to resolve our leadership problems.

The idea that the NPP leadership must preemptively refuse any win by the NDC as if it has been ordained that only NPP could win the next elections is setting up the unsuspecting supporters of the NPP to resort to chaos should the Party under Akufo-Addo fail to win the next Presidential elections.

Wontumi is blatantly ignoring the most essential problem with NPP now, which is allowing Akufo-Addo to take over the Party's Flagbearership. NPP under any other leader would be doing better to reclaim the Flagstaff House. Refusing to accept that Akufo-Addo is only popular among half the core of NPP electorate who happens to be the loudest partisan and divisive among Ghanaian electorate, has placed the NPP behind a huge hurdle at the very outset. And allowing folks like Wontumi spew such criminal nonsense makes it all the more difficult for the NPP.

The Party must advise such folks to stay off the Media houses to make pronouncements that seem to represent the Party's official viewpoint. Blaming any likely defeat of Akufo-Addo in the next Elections on the EC, is a dirty, rotten ploy to claim Akufo-Addo is without blemish and proven to be unbeatable. What a fatuous farce! Only the Wontumis and Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr.s and their arrogant cohorts would hold such views.

Wontumi must shut the hell up!

The history of the EC in Ghana indicates that it is an instution that work for the president who appointed , the EC. Look at Nkrumah, he could not have lost any election, why, because the EC was working for him,period. LOOk at Rawlings and his corruptible Afari Gyan, RAwlings could never have lost any election whilst Afari Gyan was EC because he Afari GYan will do any thing to make him win. So why did Kuffuor win, one may ask. Ghanians were tired of RAwlings murders and tyranny with noting to show for it after 19yrs and wanted change. Even that, see how the EC tried to steal it for the NDC by declaring that there should be a run-off. THis was the trick that opened the eyes of the other parties who then alligned with the NPP to give the NPP an overwhelming win that Afari Gyan could not steal it. The win margin of NAna Addo was probabily not too great so Afari Gyan manipulated to steal it.So what changes must be made. Very simple. If Ghana really wants a sustainable peace, then the EC is one institution where the president should never be allowed to select the commissioner. If he does, he is working for the president, and nobody else. There is a better way forward. An election stolen could plunge the country in a civil war. Afari Gyan, have you seen the wounds of war. Don't take us to war by your stupidity and foolishness.

You are indirectly inciting the army to stage a coup. I think the army is very professional and will not fall for your antics. Shame!

Your party lost the elections, you're still crying pink sheet tears. You may think you're sending a subtle message to the military to act, but you really are wasting your preciious time. You blamed the EC for your loss; then when you failed at the Supreme Court, you heaped blame on that institution as weell. Ec is not NPP's problem; your problem is that you've chosen to stick with a proven loser as your candidate, and your stiff neck ears will be ringing pink sheets again.

Its disappointing to hear the chairman of NPP thinking of military take overs at this point in Ghana's democracy. I expect informed politicians to use political platforms to enlighten audience about the advantages of stable democracies and the advantages come with it, the rule of law and sorting out grievances through political dialogue. Politicians who promote military coups do not understand what democracy is. there are few or no African countries that have the freedom of speech we have in Ghana. If prominent NPP leaders are beginning to preach such backward and destructive politics, it will only harm their chances of winning in 2016. Genuine politicians do not have the word 'military coup' in their vocabulary.
