Mpiani is not serious. Which country's president hops into a jet and leaves the country when Trade Unions are on strike. A serious prez would have cut short any trip to address the issue. There is no serious country when the President and his vice will be out of the country when there is labor unrest.
Mpiani wants to be in the good books of Mahama and justify his crony, Kuffour's numerous travels and per diem that went with them. Many Ghanaians, including myself were not enthused with his constant travels, making him the most traveled Prez in the country. We should not encourage Mahama to also do what Kuffour did wrong.
Perhaps Mpiani wants to try to cover his wrongs that Mills made him go with them. Some of these should have been jailed.

Eventually honest people like Mr Dan Botwe and many loyal NPP stalwarts were unwanted by the Kufour administration. These are some of the people who claim to be NPP members but behind the scenes sabotage the part's effort for victory. He's dangerous so Nana Addo and for that matter the NPP, must ensure that the likes Kwadwo Mpiani, Wereko Brobby and other saboteurs gets nowhere near the NPP's preparations towards the 2016 general elections. I am doubtful the esteemed scholar and legal brain will use a "power of attorney" analogy to describe the constitutional crisis. A POA, if even true, would have been of no effect once the Prez and or Vice Prez entered the country. Meaning, a new POA would have to be issued hence a new oath. You cannot have a POA that carries the same effect when the substantive person is present and acting same. Doe Adjaho failed to exercise his duty as mandated by the constitution and has committed an offense tantamount to impeachment.
