Some of the Ghanaian products are even more expensive than the imported ones because of technology. There are many factors that come in when we talk of demand and supply. The Chinese may have advantage over Ghanaian because the scale of production and the cost effectiveness are not the same.Thank you.

Chairman Debrah mmo,Woaye ade.Iam not an artisan but I feel angry and disappointed over this issue. Parliament should know better than what they have done. It shows gross disappoinment and incompetence of the legilators and a clear sence of mistrust in the people they are representing. Is it not the issual game of corruption being played as football in the country which is gradually paralising it.They should not have the perception that they are more sensible than the electorates who sponsored them to that August house to make laws and seek their interest.

While leadership of the trade unions in Ghana were busy carrying water for one political party against the other, they failed to be prudent, establish open communication lines with all parties, seek symbiotic relationships with players in government and in government institutions thereby missing out on opportunity to be effective as trade unions worth their name. Trade unions in a nation like Ghana where 80 percent of the rank and file are more likely to be working for the government must not choose sides in the senseless political games between the NPP and NDC. That is not to say as private individuals and citizens they should be apolitical. Leadership in the trade unions have been unwise, incapable of thinking because they've allowed their tribal bigotry to rule any sense that can be possible. The dock workers union lost out in their fight with government over drydock control, wood workers continue to lose out on lucrative government contracts while mine workers cannot gain par with mining administrators because leadership cannot be trusted not to be zealots of one party. Unions are to be neutral seeking the best in working conditions and job security for its members not become circus elephants controlled by their circus handlers in one political party or the other.

They can be angry over the importation of the tables and not the chairs. None of them can mould those chairs, i guess they 've been around all this while the country has been importing common tooth pick.
