The Akyems have always been a small but divisive group. They would align with anyone, anything to get their wishes.
Ghana is changing fast. The Ewes are increasing in size and education, the northerners are also multiplying.

If we do not change and tell these Akyem mafias to get off our backs and learn to settle within the hegemony of a greater good for Ghana, there will come a time when we will be out- numbered and I fear our children will suffer for our past misdeeds.

Our past can be forgiven but we have to change first.

Stop trusting these Akyems. They aligned with the Akwamus, Fantis, Gas and even till now Colonialists just to get their interest.

Imagine, they turned you against your own Son, Alan Kyerematen even when signs were that he could have been the bridge between Ewes and Ashantis at long last.

What can't they do? This is not an alliance of equals but one of opportunism. It is wrong and bad for future Ashantis.

Hey my people, you can do better, don't be deceived. We brought down the might Denkyira with wisdom and great tact. Where has these virtues gone.
Wake up, nananom, wake up Ashanti. Let's forge a better future with our fellow Ghanaians

Much to their relief she smiled and said: "Well, you missed a test today so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper."
Still smiling, she waited for them to sit down. Then she said:

You need to invite them for discussion so you can better understand the cause of the situation. The performance of the chn depends not only the teachers, but also on parents, the community and the chn themselves. Nana should make sure all the parties have played their part well. Thanks

The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.

Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.

Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.

Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

If more than half of a number of pupils fail in their examinations, who should we blame? Of course, the teacher. I don't think anyone should attack the chief for his warning. After all, during School Performance Appraisal Meetings (SPAM), all stake-holders seek for answers for poor performances. More and large, the teachers are blamed. They should perform and stop the unnecessary rampant strikes.
