The concerns of the Bishops may be right but the forum was not the best. These issues could be discussed among he leadership without the presence of the teachers. I wonder if the GES directors response was at the same meeting ...

The fact that the education director has argued that Catholic priests in the schools are not qualified to be head those schools, then steps must be taken to change that. Train priests or reverend sisters to take over our schools. Catholic schools started with Catholic priests or nuns as heads. So for me it is an insult for the director to say what he said.Archbishop Sarpong is therefore right in his concern for the church. Ghana has lost its value and respect in education.

Mr Director how about the massive bribery and corruption in your offices? How about the charging of illegal fees by your headteachers? Can't you see, you and your headteachers are, by your actions, denying children of poor parents education? Don't you hear NDC politicians and other tribes have been calling us illiterates? Go to Matyrs of Uganda JSS and find out how much parents pay as school fees even though it is supposed to be under the free Education System. That is only one example. Stop defending yourself and act to enable poor children have access to quality education in the region.

I heard that you ve transferred some people including one Aunty Maggie; that is good but there are a lot to do. I have completed the Univ and teaching now for over year now with salary now upgraded be course I am ready to pay bribe to those in that ROOM 9 there. WHY ? Please deal with them

A man gets on a School bus, and ends up sitting next to a very attractive nun. Enamored with her, he asks if he can have sex with her. Naturally, she says no, and gets off the bus. The man goes to the bus driver and asks him if he knows of a way for him to have sex with the nun.
"Well," says the School bus driver, "every night at 8 o'clock, she goes to the cemetery to pray. If you dress up as God, I'm sure you could convince her to have sex with you."
The man decides to try it, and dresses up in his best God costume. At eight, he sees the nun and appears before her.
"Oh, God!" she exclaims. "Take me with you!" The man tells the nun that she must first have sex with him to prove her loyalty. The nun says yes, but tells him she prefers anal sex. Before you know it, they're getting down to it, having nasty, grunty, loud sex. After it's over, the man pulls off his God disguise.
"Ha, ha! I'm the man from the bus!"
"Ha, ha!" says the nun, removing her costume. "I'm the bus driver!"

The catholic schools were the best even now those still run by the church are still the best like St. Francis Xavier, St. Roses and the few in the hands of the so-called unqualified priest are still great but then the standard goes on leave when the gov't interfers. The church and the gov't must find a way to work together again.
