My friend Kwame Nkrumah interchange in the circle is also a good road construction for the country. Try to appreciate the good work of any Government in the country. The fatal road accidents in the country didn't start in this Government time, but its an old issue started even before Ghana attained Independence, but of course its becoming too much due to the growing population getting higher and the condition of the cars and the roads and drivers without being to driving schools had to be look at in other to come by rampant fatal road accidents in the country.

trust me most of these accidents are due to poor maintenance, second hand spare parts and bad roads. until we adopt a system like America or Europe, where everyone display their one year compulsory check up sticker on the windscreen, to prove that the vehicle is in good standing. I understand most people don't have the money to maintain their cars, but we have to think for our safety on the road.

It never ceases to surprise me that we accept the accidents and fatalities on Ghana's roads. More people have died this year on our roads than ebola has killed in Liberia. I am sure if ebola kill same number over the same period in Ghana there will panic and outcry, yet we accept road fatalities year in year out. Bad roads, unmaintained vehicles, drivers who don't take a driving test, lack of enforcement of regulations, obsession with overtaking the car ahead, these are the issues that need to be addressed. Nobody seems to care or care enough to do something and this is sad.

-The bus or car owner, plus the driver careless about its road worthiness.
-The Licensing authorities issue licenses to unqualified drivers.
- The police sees overloaded, unworthy lorries/cars/trucks you name them. They stop them, take money and let them keep on driving.
- The roads themselves are not worthy to drive on.......what have all our governments, past and new done about them? NOTHING!
ARE THESE STUPID ACTIONS OF OUR CITIZENS NOT A RECIPE FOR DISASTER???????
What kind of humans are we???????
