Afoko and Agyepong have had six good months to redeem themselves, but they have wasted the opportunity on dirtying the waters. Apart from their arrogance, they forgot that they were only the authority of the party until a flag-bearer was elected. If they are to be paid back in their own coin, the surely Akuffo Addfo would be justified to side-line the two of them. Even staunch NDC members know that Afoko and Agyepong are fakes in the NPP. They can never be trusted by anybody. If the party cannot impeach them, then Akuffo Addo should stay away from them if he aspires to be the president on January 7th 2017.

Secretary of the NPP so is Nana as the Flagbearer of the party. Remember who ever is the flagbearer has the right to form his/her own campaign team. The party is there to advise and help out and not to dictate to the guy that's running on its ticket. The party is not running for president, it's the flagbearer who is running. The Chairman and GS have an allegiance to the party not the flagbearer and, the flagbearer has an allegiance to the party's electorate that chose him/her and not to the party's executive brass. It will only be prudent and helpful if both parties can work and respect each other. My prayers is that, they do so in good faith if not, I can say we will be 10% removed from our dream before the race begins.

All these concerns are legitimate and anyone in the position of Akufo Addo will be careful when dealing with them. Now the two if the allegations are correct within their hearts, would realized how naive and juvenile they have been as well as realizing the maturity of Akufo Addo. They should have a change of mind and be transparent and honest in all their dealings towards Akufo Addo, the party and their goals to alleviate Ghana from the pecarious position we are in now.

I can just picture Akufo-Addo and the NPP beginning the manufacture of a new excuse should Akufo-Addo lose a third time, and that excuse will be that Agyapong and Afoko were not solidly behind Akufo-Addo's campaign. Did Akufo-Addo's camp not also blame Alan Kyeremanten for being part of the reason he lost to Mahama, claiming that Kyeremanten failed to play an active role in his campaign for president? No support from Kyeremanten and also the so-called pink sheets were the lame excuses branded by Akufo-Addo for his defeat at the hands of the NDC. What next, Akufo-Addo? Oh, I lost the Presidency this time in 2016 because Afoko and Agyapong were planted agents who undermined my campaign. Or could be that I lost the Presidency because those who took my bribe money sat on their rear ends the same manner Akua Donkor did to Nduom after accepting his Toyota Tundra? Still wrapped in pink sheets, vainly searching for the elusive pink panther.
