If an MP earns 7000GHC/US$ a month, note ours is a country where our currency can go through metamorphosis and become US4, and the MP contributes 1000GHC/US$ a month to his party, it will take 20 months for the MP to get 120,000GHC/US$ to support the Presidential Primaries of party especially if he supports the candidate without a John as part of his names but a William. Really, I do not see the import of the story as the writer is mixing the old currency with the new Ghana cedis. This is meant to achieve a big mischief. But the mischief will not succeed as those reading the piece will not be interested the mischief. WE know for a fact that all the MPs supported the one who had 94%+ so just as the winner says he donates to you, this amount to enable you go and vote, so will the MPs also say they donate to you this amount to enable you to go and vote. The NPP has a way of finding out who voted for and who voted against the BIGGER voices.
