Hosting the AFCON football tournament isn't a death-knell for Ghana.Ghanaians suffer from a myriad diseases that kill thousands a year....high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, AIDS, malaria, cholera, you name it, it is ravaging Ghana...and yet, we have the temerity to think that inviting our brothers and sisters from other African nations to come and share in the joy of seeing African football teams perform is calling on an ISIS DEATH SQUAD.

Let's stop this hysteria about Ebola...the knee-jerk reaction from this so-called intellectual, Cudjoe, speaks volumes about the ignorance and the deep-seated animosity that surrounds the disease.

Cudjoe is a lout, a Republican in black skin, hateful, ignorant and trapped in 19th century mental state. His utterances are reminders of how deep he has sunk. I am really surprised by your comparision of Ebola to some of the common disease that have been with us for years. Within this short period that we heatd of Ebola it has claimed the life of over 4000 people. The estimation of WHO for the next few months ahead of us is going be more. Why should we not find means of preventing it by having less contact with people from affected places. As much as we are all helping to find solutions to it we should not create sn avenue of its spread. It spreads by contact with an infected person.
It was not necessary to expose ourselves by playing Guinea at this time. The match should have been potponed or cancelled. Why was the match not played in Guinea? Because of Ebola. The same reason should have been used to cancel it or postpone it. What is wrong if the whole tournament is suspended this year until further notice. Some few peoples interest should not over-ride the interest of the masses.
One single person who lost his life in Texas is puting the whole of America on their toes moreso when two of the nurse that came into contact the Ebola patient. They did not know therefore did not take the necessary precaution. Look at even a country with a very good health delivery system how much more a country with poor health delivery system.
This means that puting people together including people from affected area is dangerous. That is why Morocco thought it wise by asking CAF to postpone it. These are authorities who care about their lives and the lives of their people. I dole my hat off for these people. God bless them for care they have shown.
How can a whole minister take such a decision and no member within his party is challenging such a decision. It is sad the way we do our politics. The party decides for us and nobody within the party has boldness to challenge it for fear of being sidelined. COWARDS. In this case the oposition is also silent.
More people should come out to support Cudjoe to show how they care about their lives and the lives of the masses. Perhaps mojingles may not live in Ghana but outside. If so then it shows the level of his thinking. Let us all work together no matter our party affiliations and put pressure on our honourable minister to recind his decision.

AFCON should wait till the EBOLA epidemic is stabilized and all African nations would feel free to participate. Besides Ghana is not physically and financially ready to host the games. At best, we are going to borrow money from a foreign country with the assistance of "financial engineers" who in the end would sue the country for judgment debt. If Ghanaian engineers and contractors cannot fund and build anything themselves, then we are not ready. Ayariga and co. have already calculated in their heads the 10% kickbacks to themselves and the party.

The Ebola is blatantly and swiftly killing the infected with figures on the rise daily.

The whole continent is in a state of emergency. Whilst the Europeans, USA and other states are busy helping to contain the disease and researching for the appropriate vaccine, they are thinking of entertainment just like kids without any responsibilities.

If Nana is finds necessary to talk about the budget for Kasoa interchange then why should the issue about Ghana hosting this Game skip attention. Does NPP have anything to really offer Ghana?
