  China has actually been manipulating their exchange rate in order to keep it down for a low cost of production.One of the reasons their goods are so cheap.It has been a bone of contention between them and the United States for awhile.In this regard,our local industries cannot compete with them.I sounded a note of warning several months ago.
  The solution lies in the imposition of import duty,a resolve of Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana goods and services and for local industries to work efficiently and cut cost down.
