Ghanaian coaches are no tacticians. They are simply spectators who play best as Monday quarter backs. They always talk about seeing their mistakes after the fact. They cannot plan. They cannot find the game when play is on. They simply sit just like any spectator. They don't even motivate their players when they are discouraged. The fact is that they are no coaches.

Our coaches are putting square pegs in round holes and hope things will work out. Eg. Kwadjo Asamoah is assigned a defence role when the talented play-maker is best suited for an attacking role. I wonder why Asamoah Gyan or Dede Ayew are not asked to keep the post or say play in defence too. Our coaches to begin to learn new techniques in football before we get dismantled by a classy team. We've had a dose of that when Zambia nearly tore our team apart with their well organized team. The Guineans can cause an upset in Tamale. After their poor showing in Kumasi, the GFA think they should move the team to Tamale where the crowd won't be as rowdy this time.

When the Black Starts can play beautiful and constructive football, there's no way we can't win in Tamale. These days everyone knows how to play, but our talent must show in this game. We must begin to master the game of possessive football. People get the notion of "agoro" kind football; that's wrong! Possess and construct; that's the theme of the new science in football. Watch it!

Defenders want to dribble, midfielders dont want to pass the ball at the right time and strikers wont shoot at the right time. The coach must be bold to drop Dede Ayew, Kwadwo Asamoah and Atsu. As for Jordan Ayew, I wonder why they always invite him. I wonder if they dont watch Messi and Ronaldo play. It is team work. they are only interested in cashing dollars.

To be quite honest I think Appiah was right when he had him at left back. Whenever, KASA is put in an attacking role, he seems to lack confidence. He lacks to forage up from the back when no one expects it. That is when he is at his best. At this point, he is best put at the left wing and let us see what he can do. We have to shift Dede to the middle and team him with Rabiu. It might be time to try and see if Badu can play on the right wing. I think it could work. Let us see.
