The Board is equally corrupt and must be dissolved and investigated. Those guilty among them be jailed for good lessons to be learned by all such criminals in the system. Being corrupt, they think falsely that government money is an elephant meat; it will never finish and nobody cares about how many millions they steal.

It is possible that some members of the Board, if not all of them, knew about the rot, receive their portions every month and colluded with the Executive to carry on with the massive corruption. It is also possible that the auditors knew and colluded with the NSS's nation wreckers to defraud the nation, including the bankers. They must all be investigated and jailed if found guilty.

What is the use of having boards of directors and auditors that receive huge salaries and allowances from the states if such rots are commonplace in our system?

It is not only the directors who were involved. The board and the ministers in charge were part of the scam. It is up to the interdicted officials to spill the beans. The board's retention of the members is a cover up!

Hi my good friend, Aziim, the problem is not because we don't have leaders but because we have bad leaders. These "bad leaders" are not just politicians but civil servants, the judiciary, the security services, the public servants, the INGOs and LNGOs. Vitus, is it not strange that since the time of late Prof Mills the government lost as many as 16 cases related to corruption? Something is certainly wrong somewhere not because the government did not have the political will to prosecute people suspected of being corrupt but the system itself makes sure that a mafia of corrupt people are never punished. Today few people are commending the government and the BNI for at least bringing the issue to public notice but some people have already jumped into defending the accused persons and the government. With this mentality from people who should have provided "good leadership" by supporting the good work and encouraging further probe as your good self is doing, this country will never move forward.

You are supposed to be on the heels of the technocrats and the entire setups to unearth corruption not only the politicians or the leaders. Are you not also a leader? Do you agree to be part of your own generalization? Technocrats will stop at nothing in stealing state funds and ditching their ministers.
