  A man was summoned to court for punching his lawyer.
  During the process, the Judge asked him to explain his actions.
  "Your Honor," replied the defendant, "that man represented me in a bitter divorce. One day he said my property settlement hearing was about to be held. The judge would decide that afternoon what I would get, and what Rose would get. My lawyer told me I didn't have to be present and "not to worry."
  "I can't see why you'd punch a man for that," interrupted the judge.
  "Wait, there's more...
  When I asked my attorney later about the settlement, he told me to look on the bright side. I asked why.
  Then he said, "Because everything's coming up Rose's."
  "THAT'S when I hit him!"

  It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

Could you remember he banned a book written by Zayebo, an insider and member of his government, from entering Ghana during the PNDC era.Rawlings should not be allowed to go on choosing what he wants and what he doesn't want to be documented about his tyrannical rule that lasted for almost 20 years in this country. Rawlings should leave Prof Danso-Boafo alone to record history faithfully.

  Ex-Prez. JJ Rawlings reckons the horrible and stinky memoirs of his entire reign of terror even cannot be made public yet he will not let sleeping dogs lie. When you can sensibly think ahead, it is natural to execise caution in every step you take because none can ran away from the shadow we cast nor the trails we leave behind in creating history. JJ should know that dead or alive the truth will surface in many facets to delete the blatant lies he implores the youth to believe. Why won't anybody be proud to showcase the one's achievement, heroics and capabilities? Instead of quietly publishing worthy materials for the benefit of our future generations JJ is dabbling constantly in chieftancy and political matters. Prez. Mahama is somehow, safe because he knows very well that making JJ go hungry will incur a sodom-style wrath. The indemnity clauses cannot shield JJ forever from what has become a farce of his deadly revolution earning him and his family a shortcut to prosperity at the expense innocent citizens of Ghana.
