    Why not give the teachers their pay. Ghana obviously does not have the funds to pay their workers. I wonder where the money will come from. Hmmm, maybe the IMF. Ghana needs to grow up. Seriously.

    Veep some teacher have not been paid for over two (2) years in this hard conditions when even paid teacher are crying,so how do u expect them to be effective.

    It is a policy that in every September there should be an incremental jump. The Veep will not see it is not done but can only talk of absenteeism. Let's wait for 2016.

    its even my wish that all teachers will be in my shoe so as to impact lies and poor teachings into learners until the government sees how useful we teachers are in the development of a our nation

    Teacher absenteeism is unacceptably high and yet Madam Opoku-Agyemang, the Minister of Education, describes the education system of Ghana as "very good"; who is she fooling?
