  Dear Vic what made some tribe in Ghana think, they have every right to rule Ghana and find fault from any other tribe who becomes a mobile of state or president of Ghana ? Is it only one tribe made Ghana army, police body, or is Ghana doctors all from one tribe? Ghana politics belongs to any Ghanaian whom thinks he/she is qualify and
  capable to govern the country and for the fact that all the the tribes makes Ghana as a country we should start to learn to respect other people if they are not from tribe I , think it will help, the blood in you is the same blood in everyone else on this planet, it is rather unfortunate people with very low (IQ) sees different people from other tribe and race as inferior. I think you will be very happy if a doctor from the north save your life at Korle-bu or if a police man from outside of tribe saves you from crime scene I bet you will say God has save your life. These timber in the first place shouldn't have been fell, secondly if the gov"t does not stand firm people are still abusing the system which has been already fail. No president can fix our problem if our institutions are still weak because any president we vote for cannot be all the places at the time, they are not invisible, they are just like us, that why I have been saying and people also have been saying until we sort out our institutions it will be very hard for Jesus to fix the problem we have as a nation.

  Proof is needed that the trees were felled before the BAN. If no proof, the government should export them and use the money to plant trees around the districts across the country and the companies fined for breaking the law.

  It is not okay to kill the environment - Vic. Specially, in the Northern Regions where more trees are needed to stop desertification.

  it has become illegal coz the China man is given the right to operate. the best way to check on the is to allow only sawmills to acquire the document through their company name, with that no illegal practice can take place since the sawmill can be stop from operating if found of wrong doings, it ll make it easier for the govt to control the harvesting of the logs.
