There is a place where you can be sure that you would find a representative (MP) from every part of Ghana year round gathered together to deliberate on the future and the current state of this country. Where is that? Parliament house of course. If there is such a place then how should the place and the people there be treated in the scheme of things? What priority should such a house be given in the governance of the country? If there is such a place then what kind of people should we send there and how should we assess their performance?
Parliament must also provide a readily available renovated residence in Sakumono to a newly elected parliamentarian. Accommodation in Accra/Tema is expensive and not every MP-elect may have the money to rent a house as he or she may have exhausted his or her funds running for office.

if they make a mistake and pass this blasphemous terrorist Monsanto breeders Bill, we would have no choice than to work to bring the system down. It's not in anybody's interest to push Ghana to the edge

Why do we have to give the politicians accommodation in the first place ? Are they not the same corrupt politicians who are ripping off our recourses? What about the poor cocoa farmers who break their backs for our hard earn foreign exchange ? Before oil and gas came into the scenario who and where Ghana was getting its resources from? Is it not the same farmers whom has been there for Ghana since the time in manorial ? Most of this so called educated benefitted from the poor farmer what have Ghana done to those farmers? What is so extra ordinary things that most of the politicians has done to change things around for goodness sake? Are they not the ones that are looting national coffers? For what these thwarts deserves from tax payers again, do they even deserve 4x4 ride plus saloon car from the tax payer because they are politicians? Come on Ghana this politicians are just like any other Ghanaian they are not above any other Ghanaian and they don't even deserve mother Ghana (wee) for Christ sake!

Patriotic parliamentarians should stand up and be counted. They should vote against any bill that excludes Ghanaian scientists in the alterations, any that would not allow our farmers to use seeds from the previous seasons and also any one that forfeits our control over these seeds.
A patriot would not surrender his/her
control over his/her source of survival to a foreign entity.

There have never been a time in Ghana's history that a collection of naive fools been assembled and called parliament. Just go into discussion even at a social meeting like drinking or lunch and you that they are detached mentally completely from what is happening in the world. Nowadays once I get into contact or introduced to by anyone, I just keep quiet and do whatever am doing quickly and excuse them. They are too rudimentary in the brain. When you start talking about NPP or NDC you see them very vocal. They think parliament is like a religion, forever NDC or NPP whenever it comes to dealing Ghana national issues. No wonder they failed in their own endeavors before coming to parliament. They are mentally entrenched in either NPP or NDC. WHO IN HIS RIGHT THINKING MILND WILL enact a law like this for his countrymen? This is why we must vote for the right calibre of people to sensitive positions. I wish people just engage with them individually and you realize what am saying. They are completely NAIVE, IGNORANT, AND DONT JUST UNDERSTAND ISSUES unfortunately they are supposed to debate on. Why should the white man develop a template bill for you and you think he is helping you. They should go ahead. When they leave the parliament and go back to the poverty, they will realize their foolery.
