Thinking-less people. Meanwhile their children are either doing the British O'level and A'level or the American 4 year high school education before college/university. Heartless and wicked people.
Lets vote them out.

From my observation, I see that supervision and teaching at the various levels was very important. One of my headmasters in JSS was very strict and ensured that teachers didn't absent themselves. If we can have such caliber of headmasters, we can go a long way. I rest my case.

Then ask yourself which schools you attended; privileged schools of course, you the only brilliant one. You can't be more intelligent than the others. Smug!

We need to find those caliber of headmasters and let them train other educational leaders how to manage schools. If we don't do so we can make the number years to be even 100, but we'll still be lacking behind the rest of the world.

I'm not a smug, please stick to the points and stop calling names. These are some of reasons we as a people aren't making a headway; we can't just talk about issues devoid of name calling.

We are in the 21st Century and I am of the view that since the time to manufacture things have been decreased, thus the time to produce human resources should also be limited. I am also of the view that the longer children stay in the classroom they increase the cost of education.
Thus I am of the view that first the time to educate a child should be reduced and the same applies to the cost of education.
The four years that students use at the university for a bachelor course must be reduced to three years.
I use my own experience in education to debunk the myth that the longer people stay in the classroom the more they accumulate the subject matter. In 1969 I got admitted in a private technical institute. The institute was then only in its second year and my seniors have not written any external examination. I approached some of them and we agree that we should register for the preliminary course that year, both second and first year students. I am not the best of student, but to my surprise when the results came I passed all the subject with distinction in one. I impress on that group that we all write or As the next year which we did I passed with one distinction and a credit.
We had a problem of the owner of the school taking our fees from us without providing us with tutors and in some instances with unqualified ones. Thus I used even Saturdays and Sundays to study on my own to pass the examination. It means that my results would have been better if I were to have had constant and qualified tutors.

Flexible Exam years for pupils according to their abilities.
Pupils can commence taking the exams in any subject from age 12 to 16. That is flexibility not constraints.
That way the highflyers can demonstrate the ability of their wings to fly and passed about 16 subjects by age 16, whilst low-flyers pass minimum six subjects.
Natural.

If the students are going to be taught in one classroom, how do you provide differential teaching to enable the high flyers to complete in less time? I agree that 3 years may be too short for some students, but we may need to think hard over what mechanisms can allow some to graduate earlier than others.
