Even the high school drop out JJ knows this simple trick that if Africans were sworn into office by using African Deities like Antoa Nyamaa it will deter corruption. Africans are not scared of the white man's bible anymore so they continue the corruption after they swear with the bible. Alhaji Nyantakyi is not scared of the Quran so he chose to swear by it at the investigative commission. The missionaries used the bible to exchange our land and our free walking ancestors(they called them slaves). The Arabs also did the same thing to Africans in exchange of the Quran.

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Where you people not in Ghana when the same "faith based organization" headmaster of Adisadel College took home four new cars as retirement package? He even did this without the approval of the PTA board who act in similar functions as board of directors of a company. We do not need any "faith based organization" to do checks on corruption. We basically need to investigate every single rumor, whether it sounds childish or foolish. We simply have to investigate everything we hear on the radio to identify the truth in these rumors simply punish people when find to be true. We already have laws, and we do have policy guidelines. So those who go out of these lines in executing their duties should get punished as such. What faith based organization are you talking about? Christianity? Muslim? ISIS? Street-justice? Or Boko-Haram?

Corruption can only be fought through concerted approach by the leadership of the country. In all jurisdiction where corruption has been successfully fought, it always starts with leadership. As somebody said there is no country that can be corrupt if the leadership is not. Corruption has become institutionalized in Ghana and therefore using faith based organisation as the platform to fight corruption will come to nothing. After all how clean are the faith based organisations? The fight against corruption requires a leader who says I am not corrupt and will stand for no corruption. It requires a leader who will take decisive and swift action whenever he smells corruption among his subordinates. When the leader exacts corrupt free behavior from his subordinates through prompt decisive and severe action, the subordinate will start sitting up and re-evaluating themselves and those under them. Through that chain, corruption will start fading away and finally will die out of the system. We cannot banish corruption by just admonishing. We need prompt, concrete and decisive actions on perpetrators to win.

Kakabo, you took the words right out my mouth, bless you.
The only way we,as a nation, can even start thinking about the radical extermination of corruption from our body politic is to have an avowed President who is categorically incorruptible. His disgust MUST be stated in no uncertain terms to the general public backed by expeditious retributions taken anytime any such acts are committed.
Seriously,if such is not the case, how in the name probity, can the President institute stringent measures in combating corruption if he and his cohorts are knee-deep in the practice?
The President must exhibit zero tolerance of corruption for him to have the moral turpitude in telling all of us to desist from the canker.
By law,the President and all elected officials, and the net might be strung wider, are supposed to report their assets. But nobody abides by this noble requirement. And oh,there are no consequences for such blatant omissions either.
The law also requires that all expenditures undertaken by the government involving taxpayers' money should be approved by the peoples' representatives. That law is flaunted with impunity without consequences also.
So how, in all seriousness, is the dire situation our nation finds itself be addressed.
We really must be kidding ourselves if the way our leaders are going about doing nothing is accepted as the norm in eradicating corruption in our dear motherland.
