I was in Ghana in February, 2014 and it does not surprise me to hear this, though it ought not to happen. Drivers are so careless in driving, in spite of the accidents they witness day by day. Most drivers, (including big trucks) would over-take with no regard for an on-coming (opposing) vehicle. I always had to give up my right-of-way or die.

THEY ARE ALL DEATHS TRAPS AND THE DRIVERS OF ALL VEHICLES SHOULD BE MINDFUL OF HOW THEY DRIVE.TOO MUCH OVER SPEEDING, AND OVER TAKING WITH VEHICLES WHICH SHOULDN'T BE ON THE ROAD.THERE IS FAR TOO MUCH NEEDLESS DEATHS ON OUR ROADS.

There we go again, another senseless lost of precious lives, due to failure of Ghana government to construct dual carriage roads on our highways. The vehicular traffic has increased on our roads, and the Government still has mindset of 1960 traffic regime. I am sorry, but these types of gory accidents will continue to happen, until we stop the use of single lane highways on our inter region and city highways. Motorway must be the blue print of all highways in Ghana, as it was planned by Nkrumah. SANKOFA!!!!!!

Let the masses speak up. Don't let the drivers stop by the wayside and drink akpereshie before taking you on the journey. They will kill you. Tell them to slow down if they over speed. They will kill you.

Sunyani-Berekum road is narrow but equally good as what's in Washington DC. Speeding and drunk driving, regrettably the bane of the prevalent accidents all over the country. My heart goes out to the victims and their families.

Paa Dico, there is nothing like Brong among the Bonos; we are BONOs and not Brongs. Brong is an adulteration of Bono by the British. We prefer to be called by our original name-Bono, which means the first.

I feel sad when there is a road accident. It may be either an act of God or result of the bribery and corruption regime practice in Ghana. Lets be reasonable able this. Lets assume it an accident, there might be 3 causes involving the driver, the vehicle and the road. My point is that the driver might have bought his licence OR the vehicle was never taken for inspection and owner might have paid a corrupt officer for road worthy certificate OR the road might have been bad constructed because the person who gave the road contract took a big bribe and the contractor had to cut corners. What is happening in Ghana? Don't blame Mahama & his NDC team alone though they may be corrupt but the bribery and corruption cut across all parties.
