  Yes, it is a shame that our Parliament is as opaque as they come! Why would they not even let us know what this is all about? they behave as though they are not accountable to the good people of Ghana who put them there in the first place!
  
  If for any reason at all, they cannot disclose the reasons, they need to show some sensitivity and explain the grounds upon which they are refusing to disclose further details, such as "national security" etc.

  All the comments are great. My only 'beef' with the news is that Parliament rose on 18th JULY and were scheduled to reassemble NEXT MONTH!? [Meaning October?]

  Does that mean Parliamentarians enjoy about THREE MONTHS HOLIDAYS??? And they have this and that all free in addition to fat salaries? Does this not prick anyone's mind? Ebei Ghana!! Please don't tell me "...they do it elsewhere...". They might be able to afford it we cannot and should not! Are they supposed to do 'surgery'work at their Constituency offices? Do they actually do this except when it is near to elections and they go back with fresh propaganda? Ewuradze Nyankopon hu hen mbobor!
