all profits taken out and none put back to maintain or expand operations....Sell the place and save the 50 million and get paid in income tax and mining royalties instead!

How this liberal guy got an appointment at our only national petroleum corporation, only God knows. Saltpond oilfields has been exploited by Ghanaians since its find. You alone you just came last week and you want to come and sell a stake in it? This guy infuriates me anytime I listen him. He must be removed else he would hand's Ghana oil resources to foreigners. Resource of Ghana does not belong to this generation alone, it always belongs to generations unborn. You sit there and turn yourself into God, your cup will soon fill up

can't you read the story..Big oil companies(shell/exxon/chevron/total/bp thought the output was too low to waste their time and money! Only high oil prices have allowed Canadian oil sands and fracking to be profitable in USA
