There is no big deal when one donates blood for money - it`s done here in Europe, students go to the hospitals to donate and collect their money for their upkeep. I do not understand why someone is turned away when his face is recognised as a commercial doner. If that person has the energy to donate for money, why do you turn him/her away?. The hospitals need the blood and they have to encourage those people to do so and pay them.

Some part of the world like Nigeria, those who engage in the said commercial blood donation are employed somewhere else but they prefer to this at the same time. Too much Trivialmindedness has engulfed with these so called Dankwa/Busia descendants who have never in their lives said the truth nor demonstrated maturity. They always portray silliness, low self-esteemed and endemic mental slavery. What is so worrying is that they don’t mind destroying others because they want power. Attacking and distracting leaders without sound alternative is not only sickening but also portrays immaturity and emptiness of these cohorts. They just want to do or say something to grab unnecessary attention. They have no solution???. if you test their opinion by deep analysis, you always end up by cheap and shallow political biases and unfounded allegations.

They are so narrow minded that they will always dwell on shallow empty propaganda than to think of constructive alternative that will prove their ability as thinkers than “political hip pops” challenging and making empty utterances when silence would have earn them some respect.

It is very unfortunate to have calibre of people who displays nothing than greediness gluttony and cranking attitude towards each other. Even within their party they find it difficult to unite, how would they be able to unite the whole nation? NPP is a truly a joke they have nothing to offer. By their deeds you shall know them.

Ghanaians should not be blinded by these tax looters who only seek their interest by lobbying through their agents who are scattered throughout the country. Their sole interest is to make every regime ungovernable by castigating lies, ugly insults, throwing bombs, killing women, burning markets, lengthy shallow litigations in courts and false alarm blowers. What can they boast of themselves and what have they achieved for Ghana?
They want Ghanaians to be sub-servants to them whilst in their own thinking and mental deliberations; they perpetually remain slaves to neo colonialism.

I always need money, I school in a hospital, and I've never for once sold blood. If you are a registered donor, you won't have to buy blood when you need. These guys are just brain-dead lazy.

I believe that if you were in their position, you will also sell it than donate it free of charge to people you don't know who may be rich but will never help you if you asked them for help. They will also buy blood if the tables are turned and I believe that it is a fair deal. I have donated blood for free and I have also sold blood before. It depends on the circumstances. I do have a donor card from the free donation.

Most at times it sounds funny to a lot of Ewes wen u talk to them about the need for volta region to be a separate nation on its own as it was before. They ask questions like:

* Do we have harbour, airport, factories and so on......?
* Can we survive on our own?

On one side of the argument, they re right; because we were not told or taught the story of our land. Some have heard it but were not told proper.

HERE ARE SOME FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

The country we call Togo today together with volta region was one land and was together called Torgo. It was called Torgo because we are living along the sea and rivers and the there was no border at Aflao between them as we see today. They were involved in farming and fishing just as we are doing today and were living peacefully. They share boundary with Dahomey which has become Benin today and also share boundary with Gold Coast which has become Ghana today. During this time, the British were colonising Gold Coast and the French were colonising Dahomey. Torgo people were powerful; they were on their own and the British and the French did not entered their land.

In 5th july 1847, missionaries from the country that beat Brazil 7-1 in the 2014 world cup semi final last Tuesday; thats Germany arrived at Peki. They did not come to rule us but to spread the gospel and which they did. Another group also from Germany came in later and in 5th july 1884 Dr. Gustav Nachtigal, the German government representative signed a memorandum of friendship, trade and general understanding with our people. It was signed by Togbe Mlapa lll at Agbedrafor Torgo.
They started helping our people to establish cotton farm and in 1886 we were the chief exporter of cotton in the whole Africa. The Germans used the revenue from the cotton to build things like rail way lines and schools and started educating our people.

Between 1904-1908, Dr. Koert, a German mining engineer documented the presence of various minerals in our land-: gold, diamond, jasper,iron, tin,oil mercury, clinker, uranium etc. These things are still lying down in our land today. The reason why Ghana can not mine them, i will tell u later.
After discovery of these minerals in our land, jealousy set in. British and France became jealous of Germany because they were in Africa before Germany came but were not able to enter Torgo our land.

In 1914, war broke out between them. British, France and Russia formed one group against Germany, Italy and Austrians. The war was happening between them not in Africa but in their own countries. They agreed not to attack any of their African countries they were ruling by then. The war was very intense that Russia withdrew living France and British alone. So British and France used cunning ways to draw America and so many countries into the war to help them and this became the first world war. You remember ur social studies?
America joined the British side to fight bcuz Germany was becoming world super power and america were competing with them. By joining the British and the France to fight Germany, they eventually succeeded becoming the super power as we know them to b today.

During the war, British and France broke the rules. They came to Torgo land and fought Germany here. Germany did not established military force in as British and France did. They started killing our people so Germany withdrew from Torgo so that they will not kill us all in order to save our people. British and France divided Torgo land into two: British took the Western part which is volta region today and France took the eastern part which is Togo today.
France did not add the eastern Torgo to Dahomey which has become Benin but why did the British forcefully added western Torgo to gold coast which has become ghana? Simple bcuz we have d minerals or the resources that gold cost was jealous about.. But thank United Nation Organization that made a law which is still standing today that gold coast should not mine any minerals in our land.

Volta region becoming part of Ghana was not our will. Dr kwame nkrumah and his cpp governt. had a selfish role that they played in it. Did our forefathers did nothing wen there being forced into freedom in slavery? More stories to be unveiled.

It helps both the seller and the buyer. I have seen people who desperately need blood to survive and if it is possible to get someone to sell it to him to survive, why not.

Ghana has a very big problems.It seems that the NBS spokesperson, Addai said , patients receive blood direct from donors straight into the body without any form of Hospital authority Screening the blood for any possible disease before use.And he blames the donors for this lapse. What Addai doesn't know is that,it the responsibility of the Hospital to Screen the blood and its group before use.
Therefore the question of donors not knowing their blood group is neither here nor there.
