To be honest when your British colonial masters were in Gold Coast, they did not developed your country. So what made you think they will develop this present day Ghana?
In the first place the government does't RESPECT the people of western region and their chiefs. If by choice western region is having respectable Ghanians fighting on their behalf, please!!, just please help me to give them my faithful THANKS.

You are right, the westerners could have done it but when we asked for 10% of Petroleum revenue fund because of your arrogant you denied us. Your answer was "The petroleum revenue fund is for the Ghana...." Kofi you are always right, But my question is;
Which part of the REGION has been able to dip its hand into the Ghana's investment pool from COCOA, GOLD, DIAMOND, TIMBER etc, etc for development?

So stop this nonsense about Lonrho this and Lonrho that this is a ghana project being developed by a ghanaian company which happens to have some foreign investors. lets us all wake up and understand reality rather than the nonsense that people are pushing around

Why are the MPs fighting on constiutional interpretation but not on technical,commercial and socio-economic impact?Have they made any research to know how many jobs will be created or if the oil and gas port is environmental friendly to the people of Takoradi?I think Takoradi port will be far better off if GHPA invest in building larger container terminals and transit facilities there instead of gas and oil.The container terminals will create more jobs for the people and provide better living standards than this oil and gas project.Thank you.

IF SUCH A CLAUSE IS ALLOWED TO STAND, IT WILL SET A PRECEDENT DETRIMENTAL TO THE NATION WHEN IT OMES TO FOREIGN INVESTMENT. ASSUMING AN OIL COMPANY TELLS THE GOVERNMENT THAT IF IT DOES NOT NOT MAKE PROFIT OR GET ITS INVESTMENT BACK NO ONE WOULD EXPLORE FOR OIL. THEN WHAT? I THINK THE PETITIONERS ARE RIGHT TO CHALLENGE THIS CONTRACT IN COURT. I STAND WITH YOU IN THE NAME OF MOTHER GHANA.
