LOOK WHO IS TALKING! Pride and Prejudice are the bane of Ghanaians and Otabil is no exception. Blinded by his Religion - underneath is a thick layer of pride accompanied with prejudice. Otabil will have to to abandon his prejudice first before he starts talking about the topic of pride. He is full of it. How else would he wish that the current Mahama led government is overthrown in his numerous hallucinating dreams of one coup after another. Otabil should be aware that Pride and ignorance are akin and he [Otabil] is no stranger to betraying his ignorance on many occasions where he speaks on topics he knows next to nothing. For example the downward spiral of the Cedi has nothing to do with Mahama. Ghana has been elevated to lower middle income nation - that comes with many burdens e.g going for loans under new terms due the new Status. The Country is rated on a different scale etc. But owing to populism his pride takes the lead which is akin to ignorance. Otabil goes about spreading falsehood with a pinch of pride and prejudice. The smelling dirt of pride is on his doorstep. Deal with it!

With education, Ali, just by the virtue that we have more numbers than yours, means we will always have more educated people than you. Apart from our population which always paid school fees.
More primary, JSS, SS and more tertiary institutions than all your three regions combined, we have more SC judges, presidents ie ( Nkrumah is an Akan ) and an educated populace with brains (NYANSA ) than yours.

Kwahu people for example are proud of their superiority in trade and their beautiful villages. What is wrong is any group using their ethnicity to oppress others. No majority group should sit down like asses and allow a minority group to rule and oppress them, such as the Tutsis are doing in Rwanda and Sunnis are doing in Iraq, a practice which Ewes have tried and failed several times in Ghana.

You sat by and watched the Akans lord it over all others, simply because they converged from the hinterlands to the Southern shores, and used their language to invade our solemn multiculturalism. Now that other ethnic groups are regrouping and re-establishing their dignity and pride, you want to subdue their efforts. You know something...leave them alone, you can't change a thing! Bottom line is that it is all about politics. Most Ghanaians are bi-ethnic, but from Rawlings through Kuffuor and perhaps now Mahama, tribal insinuations always trump commonsense governance.

Just as any ethnic/tribal person in Ghana can claim to proud of his/her heritage. But, such claim is different from one being arrogant that means claiming superiority over another. Like Mr. Otabil said, that's dangerous. We've lived in harmony and accommodated each other all these years so why should we allow a few disgruntled, good-for-nothing but "show boating" political and social misfits to come an divide us?

As a matter of fact, I think the leader of this gang of twerps is jealous of us because we are 100% indegenous Ghanaians. We don't share half blood with anybody not born on this continent. We are pure and he doesn't seem to belong so after forcing himself into our midst he wants to fulfill his ethnic and social inadequacies by promoting his half ethnicity as superior to the rest of the ethnic groups in Ghana by aligning himself with some other ethnic group which feels very vulnerable and unfortunately, some of these folks have bought into his scheme of manipulation.

If were are not careful of this chief hyena and his blind followers, we are going to be treading on a path that will lead us into God forbid, a civil war and I'm sure none of us or at least those of us who can think deeper than the hyenas amongst us, don't want to go there.
