I agree 100%. It is a primitive document that guarantees only iron-clad privilege and power in the hands of an executive president and political party cohorts. The ordinary Ghanaian should have a lot to fear for. Ghana needs a better balance constitution than this primitive monster that will finally tear this nation from the seams.

All entrenched provisions be de-entrenched except the Indemnity Clause to ensure peace and stability.
Our Constitution is the constitution of the people in a parliamentary democracy.

De entrenched all the entrenched clauses to pave the way to bring all who committed heinous crimes in the past governments to book as it's being done in Argentina, Chile and many south American countries where the Army General are being tried for their crimes committed against their fellow citizens. No one should be above the law in Ghana. If they knew what they did were right why should they insert a clause in the Constitution to shield them from prosecutions. No one's life is moreimportant than the other. We also want the implementation of the ROPA CLAUSE IN 2014 elections.

How can the majority of virtually 'ignorant' Ghanaians understand the complex amendments to enable them to answer yes or no to questions the Referendum may pose?

You are a political hack and we all know. You are not ashamed referring to your fellow citizens as virtual ignorants? Just pretend you are on the side of the voiceless!

The bottom line of all these is that this 'dumb-headed' clause must be abolished, eradicated, removed, whaever right now. It is only the bible which cannot be changed or altered. This stupid clause is man-made for selfish reasons. It is equal in effect to protecting oneselve to steal. Here in the US, the president and cabinet are not protected by any law. If a president or member of congress or a senator indulges in an unacceptable action while in office or even out of office, he or she is made to face the law which does not discriminate against class or position or social niche. Wake up GHANA!!! The constitution of Ghana is not the bible. People come into office and instead of serving the people who voted them in, start amassing wealth at the backs of the poor people and get scott free. One day I was listening to an interview ELvis Afrieyie and he made a comment that the interviewer can interview him to a certain limit. This is nonsense.
