Encouraging private sector participation in service delivery, especially for rail, air transport, and mass transit would be better use of the ministry's resources!

  • KnYc (USMC) 9 years ago

Yes Kofi you are right on that. The government should encourage private sector investment by provide them loans or secured loans for them. Than the private sector should use that loan to build roads, mass transit such as rail ...

Yes, intelligent people know Ghana cannot run a successful airline. Gone where the days when we had patriotic people to run our state factories, airline and shipping line. What we have today are nothing more than leeches!

I suspect Prof. Adei has a share in one or more of the private airlines. Let's be more nationalistic instead of this kind of selfish and "against-the-state moves"

  • Ajit Babu 9 years ago

Why do you brand Adei as selfish when he is truly speaking about this issue. Ghana government cannot even manage human waste and you expect it to run a successful and profitable airline?

  • Kenkey Warriors!! 9 years ago

Focus on developing airport infrastructure and you recoup your investment by attracting carriers. Landing fees and taxes should help with maintenance and expansion.
