Recruiting more cops into the Ghana Police Service is a step in the right direction for more police presence in the communities will surely deter the activities of criminals.

How about spending more money on police surveillence and things of that nature. Plus making sure that they are doing the right thing. Using more technology would be more helpful that more bodies...

AS usual the NDC is putting the machinery in place to steal the election again. REmember Mills forming the special forces in the military just before the election. Now Mahama is recruiting people into the police force just before another election.These are the people that they will deploy to opposition party strong holds to harass and intimidate people who might think not voting NDC. And as usual it is going to be 100% NDC foot soilders who are recruited. Rawlings is the one who introduced this system. The cause effect is that we have security forces that by default is a political wing onf the NDc party. What happened to the system where all qualified candidates sit down to take an exam. The NDC party has used this method to ge thier supporters into jobs an any one who do not support them remains jobless. Just listen to the name of the people in the security forces and you could tell that Akans are virtually a minority in the securouou ty forces, though we form a majority of the population. WAke up people,you have been abused for more than 30 yrs.under the deceptiion and propaganda, empty and hollow promises of this NDC.
