Sekou is saying what even the birds in the trees know . no chance for nana no matter how well his name has been marketed . i think Alan and Nana Konadu have better chances winning or beating mahama than any other on today's political horizon . nana can never beat an ndc led candidate now as he lacks the strategies , platform and logistics to do so . this govt is performing abysmally yet nana has not been able to assert himself as a viable alternative other than his please like me stance . he has not been able to put in simple words proven solutions to the problems we have today which is a sign he doesn't have the backing of the true stakeholders of the land . he belongs to a minority group within the Akans and has not properly reached out to the majority being the Fantis and Ashantis , experience has taught us when this happens the govt often turns out to be willful and ignorant of the concerns of the silent majority . i could give out a list of over 100 points which prove why this time nana can never win these elections , no point in supporting a loosing spent politician who doesn't have the good sense to know when his time is over .

Today about 56% pass in 6/7 subjects but only 28% got entry requirements. In 2007 it was 13% who got the required grades for tertiary institutions.

Look at this criminal talking about education. A FAKE lawyer who is not in a position to produce a copy of his so-called missing law certificate has the nerves to talk about education. This criminal should just shut up when it comes to matters of education. When the NPP media went around saying the Vice President in the person of Amissah Arthur did not have a genuine masters degree in economics, he immediately went to the University of Ghana, and collected his certificate in the presence of the media. Why can`t Nana do the same. He can`t because he has no LAW CERTIFICATE. This is not a matter of NPP, NDC, PPP, CPP, PNC, PPP etc., it is a matter of priciples. Nana wants to be the CEO of Ghana and we have the right to check his background. We do not want a criminal to lead us. Nana please show us a copy of your law certzificate and also give us the name of the law school you attended.

You asking him to go and get a copy of his law degree. He does not need it because its not like he is now applying to be called to the bar? The bar association confirms it verified that when he was called to the bar. The institution he attended confirms they have a record of his attendance and are ready to produce a copy of his law degree if he so wishes. Now they are arguing he should prove he is the one on their record. Are you people serious at all? Is his law degree going to improve our educational system? Did Rawlings attend any university? No but he ruled Ghana for many years and he even did better than mahama.

Nana Addo's reference to Kufour's time is totally baseless and irrelevant. You must study the causes before you hasty into conclusion. Nowadays, even primary pupil want to use phone and social media. They spend 80% of their time on whatsapp, twitter, facebook and other social media instead of their books. These kids have become anti-social that they barely communicate with their parents and even among themselves. The results is recent sex videos and nude pictures which are going around world over. Ghana is not the only country suffering from this syndrome. If it has happened in President Mahama's time, it doesn't mean Mahama caused that. This is political hypocrisy and if this is how Nana Addo want us to believe, we are more matured than that. Check your facts well because your ideas are too weak.

Education is the only legacy Ghana needs in times like this. I now get it why NPP made it 4 yrs to absorb all political pressures such as strike and others n that's thinking outside the box. However those NDC yesterday Legon graduate put into critical positions are rather illiterate lacking deep thinking and are two decades behind NPP. NDC is following the orders of dead and out-of-date constitution which they copied from another country and has come back to hunt and hurt them deeply. Mahama-led NDC got to have the big balls n political will to effect miraculous change now else they are doomed come 2016 and they should not forget Ghana would investigate every pesewa of taxpayers and loans they have borrowed and wasted in the name our oil, pay with 8 yr compound interest.

It is also a fact that those who could not make it to the university will pursue other courses.

Prez Mahama did not import teachers from elsewhere to come and fill the Secondary Schools in the Country, it is the same teachers who are there. If salaries were increased under the Single Spine Pay Policy but teachers and other professionals keep on demanding for more pay without any focus on increased productivity this is what would happen.

Akufo-Addo leave Prez Mahama out of your cheap politics.

Let me take this opportunity to educate you and others about the results you are talking about. First of all, WASSCE as we all know started in 2007, before this time was the SSCE whose grading system is different from WASSCE so comparing the two will be like comparing apples and oranges. Secondly any intent to compare should start from 2007 and I will urge your outfit to crosscheck the percentage of students who got 6 credits or better from WAEC. In actual fact since 2007, this year's results is the second best at 28%, just last year it was 19% and in 2007 during your time it was 12%. 2012 was the year WASSCE recorded its highest qualification to tertiary institution at 31%. I pray and hope that all of us including journalists will try and understand issues before commenting.

If anything at all, it has improved with the the addressing of the problem of schools under tree, distribution of free school uniforms and exercise books, increase in capitation, building of universities. There still remains massive fundamental challenges but that should hypocritically chanced upon because we all know NPP's record is even worse
