How do you expect people to remember these 10 numbers in an emergency ? Why can't we use simple ones like 777 ? Oh Ghana !

I do not understand why in Ghana we make things so difficult.
Why not use a simple number 111, 222, or 333

Ghanain Doctors are either incompetent, uncaring or lack empathy.Yes their job is not to turn people seeking information and advise about Ebola away. Where is the public health service? why are they not out there campaining and giving advice to the citizens? It is no wonder Ghana has become a country of funerals and sorrow. The health service across the country is not fit for purpose and urge the Minister of health to act about the health state and the numerous deaths in our communities.famlies are grieving all the time as they cannot get the right treatment and care for their sick ones.

Because the health system is not fair and the public perception that health is Dr. or Nurse and not any other health professional. Disease control and Surveillance Officers are the frontline staff when it comes to disease outbreak investigation and general disease prevention. Some of these Dr. or nurses don't even have public health and epidemiology background to come out with intervention measures to prevent ebola. Stop recognizing they alone.

Tony Goodman and the ministry are using old strategies to run a modern day health system.
What are the regional and district health teams doing such that the country then has only 3 lines. like suggested this your strategy for public education will not work decentralize your education and communication strategy rather than holding unto what you are doing. Dont you have other work to do

The so called doctors can not and should not turned of emergency lines for any tangible reasons they may come out with. This is a lack of education and knowledge and it serves as incompetence on how information is delivered to the public. There should be a public forum on how to relate information to the rest of the general population. The Public Health Administration and Department of Health should also open up more lines and stop acting like "we know it all". The disease is at our door steps and we need all the knowledge to combat and hold down the disease. Whenever there is Ebola out break erupt in Ghana, millions would die due to how we live in communities and the structure of the houses we live in. Lack of water supply for constant hand washing in case of body contact ( hand shakes ) can also play a deadly role.
If a minister is able to answer to 4 cell phone lines, how come a country as a whole can not maintained a useful hot lines for Ebola. Make commercials on all television channels and FM radio stations. In fact our MPs have little vision for the general population. God Bless Ghana!
