ANYWAY, THE TOP AND CENTRE CANNOT HOLD AS LONG AS THE CORRUPTION GALORE CONTINUES UNABATED.
GHANA'S LEADERS ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION AND MEDIOCRITY BECAUSE IT STARTS FROM THEM, THEN IT TRICKLES DOWN TO THE LOW LEVEL STAFF, ALL OF WHICH LACKS THE MORAL EPTITUDE TO ERADICATE CORRUPTION FOR GOOD.

Corruption used to be limited to isolated cases involving immoral persons. Then Kufuor emerged on the scene as president of Ghana and institutionalises it.
Kufiuor taught his looting brigade how to turn every government intervention into a money looting venture, e.g. Zoom Lion which has now spawned all sorts of schemes including SUBA. Even more nauseating was Ghana@50, the construction of the Flagstaff House, the rape of Ghana Airways, the daylight robbery of Ghana Telecom in the name of privatisation where Kufuor even bribed his own NPP parliamentarians with US$5000 each to approve the sale he single-handedly negotiated with Vodafone. I also hope Ghanaians have not forgotten how Kufuor stole all the lands around Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout and along the motorway and gave some to his daughter to construct the Accra Mall!
Let me hear any whiff from any NPP idiot on the above and I will provide worse secrets.
Let's fear NPP more than Ebola and Cholera combined.

This is just a tip of the iceberg, they are selling the medicines and channeling the money into their pocket. Last year, I bought a medicine from Korle-Bu through a nurse by name Esinam who works at Ejisu Government Hospital but no receipt was issued and when I demanded for receipt it became a problem. It was then that I realized I might have bought a stolen medicine, I felt so bad about it. I ended up not using the medicine so if anybody reading this wants to investigate this issue, I have evidence.

What is the staff strenth at the manufacturing unit of the Hospital to produce 70 different medicines? Do they have the proper infrastructure and equipments including quality control labs to produce in such huge quantities?Hospital Pharmacies are supposed to supply drugs on credit in emergencies and record it in patient's folders so that they can be paid for upon discharge of patients and this is ensured by the revenue officers on duty and not the pharmacists. I wonder if it is being suggested that every patient no matter his condition should be made to pay for his drugs before he is supplied, this is not difficult at all but i bet you innocent patients, especially accident victims will die.The writer should remember that the NHIA has not been paying the hospitals for the sevices they've provided for about 8months and as such the Chamber of Pharmacy has not been supplying drugs to these hospitals regularly so how does he expect them to stock 100?%. Tell the Government to pay the Hospitals, employ more staff into the Hospital and they will work. I dont know what this writer wants to achieve with this article but he should do proper analysis of all allegations before putting it into writing.

Many Korle Bu staff and patients would testify to that. In our usual destructive character here we are looking for opportunity to bring it down. We are talking here about people's lives and well-being and such careless, uninterrogated, unresearched articles to say the least are irresponsible.

The hospital should have nothing to do with drug manufacturing, period! They should rather buy cheaper but effective drugs, some of which could be subsidized by the government for poorer patients.

THE DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY IS INNOCENT LIVE HER ALONE. Most of these same people pointing fingers at others are also redirecting patients to their private clinics and hospitals that is why there is always a long Que at korle-bu.they also have pharmacies in their clinics even without the supervision of Pharmacist so THE THE MONEY KORLEBU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN is in their accounts. in this case consulting fee, running down pharmacy accounts, and last but not the least leeting the poor Ghanaian suffer if not die because they cannot pay.
