Nana’s sources of income did not come from his personal sweat. He is where he is as a result of the booty bequeathed to him by what his father looted from the economy and also the bribe his father took, serving as a traitor to overthrow Dr.Kwame Nkrumah. Now that he has used up all the wealth through dirty campaign and empty litigations, what he thinks of doing is using his demonstration talent to buy the conscience and lobby by using corrupt minds in leadership position in the country; some of them who pose as men of God, to chastise Government and make the country unstable. The tactics of Nana Addo is nothing new to what his father did to Ghanaians. Their sole interest is to make every regime ungovernable by castigating lies, ugly insults, throwing bombs, killing women, burning markets, lengthy shallow litigations in courts and false alarm blowers. What can they boast of themselves and what have they achieved for Ghana? They want Ghanaians to be sub-servants to them whilst in their own thinking and mental deliberations; they remain perpetually slaves to neo colonialism. From his birth he was thought to backbite, destroy, kill and make shameless utterances, bully, join occult and make use of cannabis. The DISEASE of corruption begun at a much, much lower pace, but changed its momemtum when JJ started LOVING material things! And KU4 shifted the field of corruption to the SKIES; the recognition of the practice then looked legal, and sure it did.
The ex-President KU4 had a 'beautiful' first term in office, but then, the style of his leadership changed like a 'ring of fire' on the nation, perhaps, the changed was facilitated by his OIL DISCOVERY! The limitation to the national 'vault' was assigned to his pockets, and gradually coinciding with the GLOBAL catasrophy.
There are no known SOLUTION to the problem, because we all failed to recognized the sympthons. Our ways of doing things have changed since the inception of high-tec in our daily lives; we've developed an affinity of 'robotics' in system and behaving like it. It is just the beginning and the evidence is all out there; we are all amazed, and so goes with the thinking.
The ECONOMIC situation is not Mahama's, he happened to be there for the moment. All others standing outside of the nation leadership's are simply waiting for their turn to dip their fingers in the VAULT; it's going to take more than a generation to understand, and play by the rules of the new game.

We are borrowing at a high interest rate because our credit rating that was a B+ is now B -. We pay 4.7 billion dollars every year on interest on these loans and Mahama is still borrowing.

The implementation of SSSS policy could not be supported by production so more than 5 billion of cedis have been printed into the system depreciating the value of the cedi and increasing the inflation.

Spending 8 billion in 2012 in to win the election in loan money is what we are paying for now and you are saying Mahama is not to blame. NONSENSE

The kind of low quality Chiefs that are now being appointed as Chiefs in Accra, have no self-respect whatsoever or the needed quality to be Chiefs. They have less morals and discipline than their subjects. In such circumstances what do you expect?

Even with all the insults that are being heaped upon them from left right and center, these Chiefs are still not presenting themselves well because they are so busy stealing that they dont even sense or feel the insults.

Not only have they lost all credibility in the eyes of their subjects and the general public, but they have also discredited the very stools which they sit on.

My friend stop. I do not think that you are aware of the full or even half of the extent of criminality of Ga Chiefs. Ga chiefs seem to be the only Chiefs who do not act in the interest of their subjects. They are Chiefs only for themselves and thieving politicians who pull the strings to their installation and protect their continued rule as chiefs.

Land - expensive valuable lands, which is virtually the only meaningful resource that Gas as an ethnic group have left, have all been randomly sold-off by these Chiefs who have pocketed the money for their own personal upkeep only. They do not account to anybody and nobody holds them to account.

Ga Chiefs have allowed billions of dollars worth of lands to be virtually given away for a pittance because most of them are illiterate and do not know the real value of their lands. All that they know is to drink profusely, have children with several women and eat large with the proceeds of the peanuts that they sell the land for.

For having destroyed the future opportunities of Ga people, they should all be put before a local criminal court for crimes against humanity.

Just look around you at the condition in which the majority of Ga people live? The truth is that for over 60 years, Gas have had chiefs but no leaders in the real sense of the word. The Ga people have been abandoned by their own Chiefs.

On the other hand, NDC came, created and looted everything off the table leaving the citizenry with empty plates in their hands. If you are honest with yourself, you will admit that you were better off before 2009 than you are today. Today the citizens are now in a survival mode while they see their government officials awash with money that belongs to the people. How do you expect the people to help a government that put them in this misery to begin with? NPP may be another evil option but my people have no other choice. They are hoping that maybe, just maybe, a change in the scenery will bring them some modicum of relief in the future. The Mahama NDC gov't was handed a lower middle income economy as of 2008 without oil with over 3months of import cover, with programs and policies which had put Ghana and Ghanaians on the path of real sustainable growth and development all in the absence of oil.
Currently with the presence of oil revenue, record cocoa and gold prices far higher than the period from 2001-2008 in percentage terms, record huge funds from revenue mobilization, introduction of all sorts of taxes, increases in all kinds of taxes, the verdict is that the country is broke, the economy has collapsed, all the social intervention programs have collapsed, there's no confidence and credibility, which this own Mahama NDC gov't has admitted and has thus, sought for such credibility and confidence amongst Ghanaians and the international community, by going to the IMF. The question is na who cause am?
Clearly, the Mahama NDC gov't did not plow the mounds that was going to determine the heap of yams he was going to reap as per the mandate entrusted to him by the citizenry, to ensure their growth, development and sustainability.
The problems that Ghana is facing are a direct result of the NDC gov't's own doing, a self-indicting, self-inflicted catastrophic descent into the doldrums, precipitated by incompetence, mismanagement, thievery, cluelessness, lack of vision and foresight, with a yenti3 obiaaa philosophy into nothingness. This is not Ghana's problems but Mahama's NDC gov't only, and they either resign or be voted out. Ghana deserves the best and would not subsidize the incompetence, mismanagement and looting of the Mahama NDC gov't.

It's true that America and Britain have gone through problems, but they had the will and the discipline to get themselves out of those problems. One should have a well thought through Plans and how to achieve it with common sense approach,before you Ascend the Throne. You don't Ascend the Throne before you identify the problems or think of what you want to do. Leaders are born !
Therefore,it behooves on the person who has given himself-up to Show leadership ! For example ; he is the only one who can authorize $3 million (dollars) to be flown outside the Country to players "by order", irrespective of the laws on monetary transfer.
What I'm saying is that the decisions of the leadership and his support Team, Shapes the Country for better or for worse, as far as he is the leader. Therefore, if the “problems in Ghana is too huge for Mahama" and his appointees support team,then he is not qualified or the rightful person to be the leader of his Country.

My fear hopefully will be dissuaded is much worse. We have to be real to ourselves as a country. K4 had bigger problems but his admin put Ghana in a better place... J.J. met bigger problems but he yet kept our stability and followed Acheampong’s footsteps in bringing basic development to several parts of the country but his admin did not collapse our economy though the economy was bleak towards 2000.

This prez just landed the job by lack and was never prepared... If he’d be truthful to the people of Ghana and himself, he should leave the post... just let a better prepared person take the post... Spio would have been a very good and competent prez but see what the NDC gurus have given to us... Kwasi Botchway was a great choice yet the zeal to win election is collapsing our country.

This is an opinion by Ga Mantse asking everyone to unite behind the President in tackling Ghana,s economic woes, any thing that will help write new plans, identify the problem and finding a solution to it is no stupidity. Can you imagine somebody calling Asantehene a stupid man, no no no this is not on and I hope the the man withdraw that comment and apologise to everyone.my opinion.

In my recent message to the nation in the article SIKAMAN NOT GHANA, I proposed that Chiefs should rise to standards that would enable them to become Head of State in place of a President and the political government be headed by a Prime Minister. The nominated Chief for say a period of four years is replaced automatically by another elected chief from another region so that they work with government. How prepared are you to operate as a head of State with a Prime Minister reporting to you. Would your presence help the Prime Minister in his administration. We would need a Federation of Regions within a constitutional monarchy under the Westminster parliamentary system in a democratically represented manner. With WISDOM , KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING given from God all the regions will see rapid development. This system has brought about a rapid development among the STATES and the nation as a whole in a place like Malaysia.

FOR WHAT REASON,I DON'T KNOW.

He turned deaf ears to sound advices and counselling.
He has been promising too many things he knows he can't fulfill.
His economic policies are not sound,sustainable,promising and geared to problem-solving and clear-cut development.
hE HAS BORROWED TOO MUCH BUT NOTHING TO SHOW FORTH,AND YET STILL BORROWING.
His government is specialized in reckless spending.

CHIEF,WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO COME OUT OF ALL THESE AS UP-LISTED?

With OIL flowing and all the natural resources he exports everyday,he has failed to steer the ship to safety and rather,sent us to the IMF.
