In my view his only mistake was the fielding of Jordan ahead of KVB and Esien. Jordan can't be counted on in such important games at that level. We did not depend on him in the qualifiers, why did he suddenly become an important player for the team. I think something went wrong along the way. I think AA allowed himself to be pushed around by some powerful men in the business. Nonetheless I think he deserves a second chance.

Braggin about qualifying for the SEMIS and beyond, while our players were still waiting for their bonuses to be paid. Not Appiah or the Black Stars of Africa failed, the administration was amateurish. With a third world administration and organisation you can't win. Leaver Appiah alone and let him do his job. Besides, I ask you, did ghana play brilliant soccer in 2010? We won against a mediocre and overaged Serbian team, we couldn't beat Australia and lost to Germany. We qualified on luck, not on brilliant performance!

I was one of those who pushed for Coach Appiah for the job. I loved him as Kotoko player; and as a chance should be given to an indigenous Ghanaian to prove that Africans can handle their own affairs.
Having said that, Coach Appiah proved to me and the world that he was technically incompetent to handle a prestigious team as Black Stars of Ghana.
A good technically competent Coach should have waited to render punishment after the crucial world cup tournament. Knowing that we needed all our best players to accomplish our goal. It was immature for the Coach to raise hell in the team during a crucial World Cup. Kevin told him the truth about his failure to put him (Kevin) in the game rather than relying on Jordan. It was the fact. Coach Appiah hated to hear his authority challenged. If he (Appiah) had decided above his incompetent, Kevin would not have gotten any chance to put forth the facts.

Coach Appiah was my man for the job. Sorry he performed below the high caliber expectation. If Nyantakyi is not corrupt by favoritism, Coach Appiah mush be fired. He is not up to it. Our Black Stars team deserves better than that. We should and could have won against USA. We could have beaten Germany. Had Jordan been a team player rather than as selfish as he played, the chance was there to win against Germany.

Africa always make mistakes and never learn from it and live to commit the mistakes over and over again. History is there for the wise to learn from it. Ghana never learn. Coach Appiah must be fired.

Their coach proved he was smarter than AA and outcoached him. AA has showed us (not once but twice)that he does not have what it takes to coach a national team. We went to the African cup with him and he failed to lead us to the final. When he returned to Ghana he begged for forgiveness and said he has "learned his lesson". We forgave him and threw our support behind him all the way to Brazil so he could lead us a step further. In Brazil he failed us again, even much worse, then gave the same dumb excuse that he "has learned his lesson". These show he is not good for the task. He doesn't learn anything. He is incompetent to a level there is no word to describe. He has failed us twice. Enough is enough. We need to move a different direction. SACK HIM NOW...

When it comes to football, winning is all that matters. Nationality of a coach or TD means little or nothing. Think about this: assume Ghana hires a TD or coach from Germany and he leads Ghana to win the world cup. Does the world cup go to Ghana or Germany? Will history say Germany won the world cup? Winning(not nationality) should be our priority. Many Ghanaians you would consider for this position are old and rely on out of date techniques that cannot lead us anywhere.

If the GFA is contractually tied that they want to provoke Kwasi Appiah to resign on his own, then they will end up destroying the Black Stars. This is because, Kwasi Appiah can decide to stay for the sake of the fat salary but surely his heart will not be with his job any longer when there is someone ''who will steer the Black Stars in the right direction". If this person is found, there will be no imperative for him to respect the so called coach or cooperate with him and it will be a confusions galore. Why are we treating ourselves like this?

Yep , for once, the GFA is making the right decision and they should STICK WITH IT. Local coaches, Appiah never got it, never gets it, and being the thick-headed that he is, he will never get it, Amen! Appiah has done enough and enormous damage to BStars football. The GFA should stay away from local coaches, and if Appiah does not like it, he ought to know what to do -- RESIGN. Why is it so complicated for him to understand this. All losing coaches in the ended wc, most resigned or were evern fired. Just close by, the Nigerian coach resigned after the end of their last match in the wc -- that was a class act; and that was a man with pride, something Appiah will never understand if he is given a 1000 years to think it over. How he got a contract renewal before the start of competition in Brazil, is one of the things the Commission should dig into. Now, the GFA has ended up rewarding big time FAILURE. Someone has locked the GFA into a corner and they may have to deal with Appiah for the next 2 years, win or lose. The Commission should get to the bottom of all the incompetence and the rot in the GFA. Let's wish them all the best because they need our support so that they will come out with the right decisions for the good of Ghana and BStars football.
