BAWUMIA INSISTED ON FISCAL DISCIPLINE ON THE PART OF MAHAMA & HIS CORRUPT NDC GOVERNMENT, TO AVOID THIS, BUT NDC CHOSE TO INSULT HIM. NOW MAHAMA'S HAND IS GOING TO BE PUT IN IMF MOUTH.

  "Ghana's budget deficit is going beyond sustainable limits; the currency is depreciating at a faster rate than expected; there have been hikes in food and fuel prices and utility tariffs, while taxes have been imposed on a number of products and services.
  
  According to Nana Akufo-Addo, the IMF deal must help address all the fundamental challenges confronting the country.
  
  Those, he noted, were job protection and creation, the high cost of living, support for businesses and, on medium-to-long-term objectives, support for the transformational and structural adjustment of the economy.
  
  He said businesses in the country were collapsing and pointed out that it was only when businesses grew that the country could reduce the high cost of doing business".

  Why is it very difficult for our political leaders to listen to wise counsels from intellectuals in the country especially when come from one in opposition? Instead of a careful analysis of what have been said, we go about insulting,all in the name of political party? Does Ghana belong to any political party? I believe its high time we carefully consider this kind of attitude. I hope the quote below is familiar to all of us? we are now paying for our neglect or perhaps our rejection of intellectual knowledge. God rescue our homeland!!!

Countries With Lesser Population Will Be In Much More Difficult Position To Raise Local Revenue To Sum-Up Their Domestic Budget Demand, As Donors Moneis Are Becoming More And More Rare, Therefore Our Country With Just About Twenty-Two Million People Will Need Much More Economic Discipline, Less Goverment Expenditure And More Private Investment, In This New Direction We Therefore Need The Big Brother IMF As Overseers And Expectees And Most Of All In The World Of Borrow And Spend Economic As All Countries Around The Globe Depend On This........

These are mostly innocent looking NGOs, think tanks whose budgets can be traced directly or indirectly back to the USA . Academic, Health and even some religious organisations have been infiltrated by these foreign intelligence organisations. Furthermore many of our influential media personalities,heads of professional bodies, journalist, corporate heads ,heads of important academic institutions,student leaders are sometimes recruited paid by these sinister foreign organisations.Political opposition leaders can come in useful and are often encouraged and funded by spy organisations to stir up trouble. All of these institutions are targeted and used by foreign intelligence organisations with access to generous budgets. THE USA MAY HAVE BEEN ANGERED BY THE TENDENCY OF THE CURRENT MAHAMA ADMINISTRATION TENDENCY TO CONTINUE TO TRADE AND DO BUSINESS WITH COUNTRIES LIKE CHINA NATURALLY AT THE EXPENSE OF A COUNTRY LIKE THE USA. THE TRUTH IS THAT COUNTRIES LIKE CHINA CONTINUE TO PRODUCE WHAT AFRICAN COUNTRIES AND OTHERS WANT.IN RETURN GHANA SUPPLIES THINGS CHINA NEEDS SUCH AS RAW MATERIALS. A VERY IMPORTANT FACTOR WHICH HAS ENDERED THE CHINESE TO MANY DEVELOPING COUNTRIES IN AFRICA, ASIA AND ELSEWHERE IS THEIR EXCELLENT HABIT OF HELPING HOST NATIONS TO BUILD UP THEIR INFRASTRUCTURE SUCH AS ROADS ETC. DECADES AND DECADES OF CONTACT WITH WESTERN POWERS INCLUDING THE USA HAS NOT YIELDED SIMILAR RESULTS. IN SHORT WHILE OUR AMERICAN FRIENDS MAY SAY AND DO WHATEVER THEY LIKE THE TRUTH REMAINS THAT WESTERN COUNTRIES HAVE NOT BEEN OF AS MUCH USE TO AFRICA OR GHANA AS CHINA HAS BEEN.In an attempt to regain "lost ground" the State department in Washington is doing everything it can to lean heavily on African governments and where necessary even remove them (for example Muammar Gaddafi of Libya, who had massive trade with China).

ALREADY I SEE CORPORATE AMERICAN VULTURES CIRCLING OVERHEAD AS GHANA IS BEING SLICED, DICED AND DISMEMBERED. EXPECT A FEEDING FRENZY AS THESE CORPORATE AND MULTINATIONAL PREDATORS DESCEND ON US. TO GIVE A CIVILISED APPEARANCE TO ALL OF THIS AFRICAN LEADERS HAD A "SUMMIT" WITH OBAMA IN WASHINGTON RECENTLY . PRAY. GHANAIANS PRAY AS NEVER BEFORE.   Only folly and stupid people will support IMF bailout.President Mahama and his criminals told Ghanaians that our economy is big enough to borrow and out econmy is sound and robust.Where is the valve for the GHC50 billion President Mahama has borrowed so far?All projects abandon since President Mahama took office and has borrowed and stole the money and share among NDC members and fools paying for money they did not benefit from and hail IMF bailout as positive sign from Ghanaians and ignore all the consequences that follow it.Mean while Presaident Mahama and his NDCs are billionieers money stolen from Ghanaians.
