This blind nursing mother who cannot pay 40 cedis is just one example. About a week or two ago a young school girl killed herself by hanging because the mother could not pay her school fees, and yet President Mahama keeps on talking about a better Ghana.
If this is a better Ghana, then I hate to see a bitter Ghana.
I think the job is too big for this present government to handle.
This government does not know which way is up.

THE SAID DOCTOR ADMITTED THAT HE CAN OPERATE AND REMOVE THAT BLOOD HEAP. BUT HE IS DEMANDING ONE THOUSAND GHANA CEDIS(1,000.00 GH CD)BEFORE HE CAN MAKE THE OPERATION. MY FAMILY COULD ONLY AFFORD SIX HUNDRED (600.00) GH CD)GHANA CEDIS, AND THE DOCTOR MUST "HOLD IT" AND JUST DO THAT OPERATION TO REMOVE THAT BLOOD HEAP AND LATER THEY BRING THE REST. THIS "SMALL BOY" DOCTOR BLATANTLY REFUSED TO TAKE THAT SIX HUNDRED CEDIS. SO I THE SENIOR BROTHER HAD TO BE INFORMED ABOUT THIS SERIOUS "LIVE AND DEATH STORY". Thanks for offering to help but have you heard of the story of the babies floating down the stream?

Once upon a time women living along the banks of a river discovered a drowned baby floating down stream. They raised an alarm and the men retrieved the dead body. No one came for the corpse so it was buried. Next day a similar this happened and the body was again buried. The situation continued until one old man asked, "Where from these dead babies? Why are they drowned? Who are their parents? etc. The problem is not that we cannot retrieve these dead bodies and bury them but how to discover the root cause and deal with it" Next day he went up stream and hid. After a while a mad man came with a baby, murdered it and threw it into the river. The old man knew that the lifeless body would be retrieved by the villagers down stream but he needed to know where the mad man gets the babies. He followed him into a city and discovered that the so-called madman was actually a ritual murderer. In his next episode the old man caused his arrest and that ended the killing of innocent babies far away in the city.

You may pay the Ghc40 and more but until as a nation we deal with the situation it will be like the dead babies floating down the river.

Just bring me a dirty fork from a previous customer. I’ll smell it and order from there." A little confused, the owner walks over to the dirty dish pile and picks up a greasy fork. He returns to the blind man’s table and hands it to him. The blind man puts the fork to his nose and takes in a deep breath. "Ah, yes, that’s what I’ll have -- meatloaf and mashed potatoes." Unbelievable, the owner thinks as he walks towards the kitchen. The cook happens to be the owner’s wife. He tells her what had just happened. The blind man eats his meal and leaves. Several days later, the blind man returns and the owner mistakenly brings him a menu again. "Sir, remember me? I’m the blind man." "I’m sorry, I didn’t recognize you. I’ll go get you a dirty fork." The owner retrieves a dirty fork and brings it to the blind man. After another deep breath, the blind man says, "That smells great. I’ll take the rice and chicken stew."
