GHANA HAS BEEN RAPED BY NDC IDIOTS. WE DO NOT NEED ANY NATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM, WE NEED A NATIONAL COURT OF JURISDICTION TO PUT MAHAMA AND HIS CABINET ON TRIAL. GHANA'S HOPELESS ECONOMIC SITUATION, TODAY, IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. NDC HAS OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES IN OUR HISTORY INCLUDING CRUDE OIL & STEALTH TAXES. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED THE BIGGEST LOANS IN OUR HISTORY. IF THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS AND THE ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES, THEN,THEY MUST BE PROSECUTED. THEY MUST GIVE THE MONEYS BACK TO THE TREASURY. WE DO NOT NEED ANY ECONOMIC FORUM. SET UP A COURT IMMEDIATELY. IT HAPPENED IN THAILAND RECENTLY, PRIME MINISTER YINGLUCK SHINAWATRA WAS REMOVED BY THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT FOR ABUSING POWER. LOOK AT GHANA;-- EMBRAER PLANE SCANDAL, STX KOREA,NDC US$20 MILLION PARTY HQ., US$4 MILLION DODGY JUDGEMENT DEBT TO MRS RAWLINGS AND HER COMPANY, SUBAH, GYEEDA, WOYOMI, ISOFOTON, WATERVILLE, AFRICA AUTOMOBILE, CP, SADA, FORTIZ/MERCHANT BANK,FREE EXPENSIVE CARS FOR CHIEFS, AKONFEM AND A HOST OF OTHER DODGY JUDGEMENT DEBT PAYMENTS. BUYING VOTES WITH CASH, LAND CRUISERS & LAPTOPS JUST TO WIN ELECTIONS. WHY NDC?????? WHY??? OUR SUPREME COURT COULD NOT HELP BUT DESCRIBED IT AS "ALLIANCE TO CREATE, LOOT AND SHARE" WHAT A SHAME? ?? AND YOU CALLING GHANAIANS TO A WASTEFUL ECONOMIC FORUM. NDC, THE MONEY IS WITH YOU, GIVE IT BACK TO GHANA. NPP, I SALUTE YOUR COURAGE FOR NOT ATTENDING. NPP REMAIN SMART AND VIGILANT!!!!!

Why is he a foolish professor. He is stating a fact based on figures from the BOG. It beats my imagination when people read politics into every sane comment. Our system is in dire straits, whether you belong to some political party. We cannot continue to act like the ostrich. Let the truth be told. Are Ghanaians not tired of waiting and tightening of belt? Children and the elderly are dying for lack of basic healthcare. This is not about one party, but a mandate has been given to man who said he could solve our problems. The situation is getting worse and out of hand. Do we sit and keep quiet? Its SCARY!

Peter, your comments are well taken, but this particular professor has suddenly become an irritant; he is apparently blissfully ignorant of the fact that the present miserable economic conditions we have their genesis in the ill-advised economic and financial policies enacted by the previous Kuffour's administration. The most egregious was the pegging of the cedi to the dollar without a corresponding solid economic base to support any negative effects that ultimately and invariably ensue. We are talking about economic ups and downs and no national economy on planet earth enjoys long periods of prosperity without the attendant downward spiral...this is what Ghana is going through and until the likes of Professor Baah clam up and work with the appropriate economic entities to tidy up the rough edges of the economy, things will remain stagnant for a while......

What logic do you think you rather is making? You cannot see the logic because your level of intelligence is very low; infact you must have a low IQ. What the visionless president said was that there will be a better Ghana at the end of the year. However, what the prof. is saying is that looking at the BOG figures from now to the end of the year, there is no hope for what the brainless guy is saying. So what is your problem in understanding this simple thing? And you think you are rather logical? Atanga Abanga indeed, hope you are not from Bole

What is it in his write so irritating to instantaneously warrant your early morning insult on him? Here you're once again twisting what the president said. Now, let me refresh it for your insulting characteristic self to sip it in. The president said the measures put in place by his administration could see the recent hardship on the citizenry easing at the close of this year, but there is more yet to be done. A bit different from your "there will be a better Ghana at the end of the year." And oh! Do me a favour and stick to one moniker since your unemployed 24/7/365 appearance in here is becoming a nuisance even for printers in Ghanaweb. Thank you.

These are some of the "doomsayers" taunting Mahama's effort to get the country moving forward again. Unlike Kufuor who characterised Ghanaian as lazy goons during the hardship on his watch, Mahama on the other hand, have acknowledged the hardship and doing everything possible at his disposal to get it right. Yet, these same yahoos from Mate-meho camp masquerading as think thanks and what have you, keep stampeding his effort left, right and centre, so as his obligating first term mandatory could stall abysmally to appraise their diabolic agenda to create room for their Kapwepwe to easily mount the presidency and glance their party credence once more in our politically charged Ghana.
Such is their mindset and they are feverishly working to achieve just that hence their constant bashing from Abyssinia to Jericho in our daily ears. Let them keep singing hell, but we the discerning lot knows better and will keep calm and eagle eyes firmly on the achievements to better Ghana and the lives of the citizenry and speak with our silence thumbs wisely come 2016.

From late 2007 until 20013 the all too powerful, financial sound, and developed nation of the USA and other comparable western nations fell down hard to every measurable economic indicator known to man. The road to recovery and growth, even if at a crawl pace, has sometimes been punishing under central bank policies of the USA and other Western nations.
It therefore defies credulity and intellectual honesty for the nay-sayers in Ghana to measure economic activities when the nations over bloated economic actions of the past are now under correction mode. There is a Christian song out there I would like to quote to reader. It starts with someone looking up to the heavens and asking God why he allows misery and sale of children into slavery without lifting a hand to stop the misery and sins. God’s answer was predictable and succinct. He created man for those purposes, to fight wrongs of other men. It is up to each man and woman to do something about the pain and suffering and not to wait on the “government” as if governments are not made of men with all their flaws, thievery, tribal animus and preferences.
Prof. Baah should play his part by providing accurate information and not be seduced by political rhetoric of the day. Ghana is being damaged not because of president Mahama but because of the ills of the past. Are there not rich people who are rich care off government largess they stole and misappropriated? Are the millions of dollars paid to people and companies in judgment debt.
