Tony Aidoo fawns on and believes in the total sanctity of his Party, whilst Arthur Kennedy rubbishes his Party and does not tow the party line

Tony Aidoo holds in the highest esteem the unity of his Party, whilst Arthur Kennedy does not understand the need for party unity and cohesion.

Tony Aidoo unreservedly lambastes his Partys political opponents, whilst Arthur Kennedy destroys his own Party members.

If the NPP was a serious political Party, they should have publicly expelled or dismissed Arthur Kennedy from the Party by now.

At the very least, the party machinery particularly the PR dept, if it is intact and it has got its act together, should promptly and actively denounce - word for word, all the very unsavory comments that this Arthur Kennedy guy has been making and which have the potential to cause strife and public disaffection not only to the NPP Party but also to individuals and the political climate in the country.

It seems to me that the NPP leadership itself is a mishmash of 'krakye-krakye' sentiments and pseudo-educated characters who unduly dote excessively on the written word (book-long) of ideological sentiments.

Politics is about the real world and in the real world, there will always be confusionists, trouble-makers and people who are not team-players, no matter how politically active, educated or reasonable they may occasionally appear to be.

And again, in the real world, politically savvy people who understand the dynamics of the real world and who have the genuine desire to advance the cause of society, avoid the 'risky' company of people like Arthur Kennedy who live in their own self-serving delusional world.

At the very least, such obstreperous (unmanageable) characters like Arthur Kennedy, should be restricted at a disadvantageous distance from the leadership of organizations to limit their potential for destruction at the nerve centre at the most unexpected times.

Finally, we should not assert ourselves to practice the ideological principles of (western) democracy for the presumed beauty of its theories. Any ideology, or indeed any religious doctrine, whose sum total does not positively reflect or impact on any particular section of human society, is not worth the substance it proclaims to be and the paper it is written on.

Yes, as soon as the Nana won the primaries albeit with arm-twisting of Allan in 2007, these "mafia" thought the long wait had come. Their moment to rule Ghana had arrived.
The so called "celeberation of Akyem nation" was to climax their perceived ascession to power. Kuffour though cannot be totally excused from blame. He ignored conventional wisdom and supported a different candidate from the majority of the party. Maybe that set the stage fo Nana Addoa and the Akyem mafia to sideline him and his group including Gladys Asmah. As for Maami Dorkunoo, she added fun and spice to the campagin rather than substance. She was used by the mafia on the platforms to energise the NPP crowds mostly by doing the 'snake' dance and insulting Kwabena Asiedu, Mills and Rawlings of the NDC.

When Maame Dokunu was creating disaffection in the NDC they were just looking for a way of sacking her. Being the professional prostitute that she is she found a new love in the NPP. Top NPP leaders celebrated the venom she heaped on the NDC leaders for no provocation. The electorate simply paid back by rejecting filthy people. Today you are now crying mee-mee-mee!

My problem with some of the comments posted is their lack of substance on the topic in question. When one reads the article very well, one finds out that here is a writer with inside knowledge and information of what's going on behind the scenes. Most of us are not privy to the information he possesses. If some people find the information as given to be false, attack the facts instead of getting personal. That doesn't help anybody to critically make sense of what is written. Comments help readers to look at both sides of the author dispassionately. People, can we do something? Take a time out of the insults and see what happens on this forum. We are intelligent than what some people may take us to be.

When I meet a single wise person on this forum the muses return and become normal for sometime. Authur K was no mean person than the campaign manager of the defeated Nana in 2008. He has deeper insight to what caused their defeat than any average NPP member including the self-deniers within the party. From where I sit it appears politically naive to offer a defector prominence in a heated campaign trail. This defector is a bundle of contraction and never makes political sense in her utterances. Do Ghanaian want serious people or childish comedians as their leaders? The verdict of the electorate is what Authur K is amplifying. Typical of the intolerant and "lawless" (thanks to Ntow) NPP all that members are doing is to attach the person of the author and not the substance.
