You have people who come into government and increase their pay to over 100% while the civil servants continue to receive lower salaries without any meaningful adjustments. The president and his appointees then turned round to slash only 10% of their pay to deceive the pubic that they are making sacrifices. Before they took over how much was the president and ministers paid? Mahama supported the pay increment at the time the country was not in good standing financially. They rushed to increase their pay because they felt that oil money was flowing and could solve the country's deficit problems. It turned out to be a different thing. !0% reduction out of a 100% increment is nothing and they should spare us that chant of sacrifices. No one is a fool. MPs salary was also increased with the notion that they spend a lot of money at their constituencies on things like weddings, funerals, projects etc. Is it not insane to say that an MP need to spend money in funerals and weddings of people? What a poor country with one eye blind man.

This should not be misinterepreted as a political talk. Instead it should be seen as a matured and realistic statement that ought to wake all Ghanaians who only have resorted to politics over every issue without giving allowing wisdom to talk to them.You are all shameful people with village mind sets of political inmaturity, yet enjoying things related to politics. Kofi Asamoah and others of like minds should wake up from their sleep and help Ghana move forward.

Some people in the system who really cares about Ghanaians have wholeheartedly made their sacrifices of giving part of their salaries to the Government. Have you guys with your foolish mind sets thought of that sacrifice? Again Murtala is right to challenge the TUC man to stop talking but give 10% of his salary, a point interesting to consider if one really care about Ghana.

The workers you are looking down on are responsible people who have more than one dependents.Some of them are more exposed and able to manage things better than you are doing now.
