Even if letters are received, the commission must inquire about whether the person or people wanted to appear are coming or not.
This is not to say it is true that the CEO of GHA has truly not received the letter. And at least, after sending a letter, email should be sent to the person or person wanted to make sure excuses are not make.
Mr Commissioner, please don't let us lose here in your process. Every sitting costs us so much money so please sit up and make sure people needed are giving ample time and you must receive response from them at least three days before sitting.

With witnesses who have displayed total contempt towards its work. When did this Chief Director realize that he going on a overseas junket? He will return to this country and plead for additional time to get his hands on information he ought to have searched for, when the invitation to appear before the commission was initially sent out. If the Prez. himself attaches importance to the commision`s work, then stern warnings should have gone out to all state agencies to offer their maximum co-operation,which unfortunately has been woefully lacking! I mean,is it not a joke for the attorney representing the GNPC to show up at the commission`s sitting and tell the whole world their outfit is nt privy to a crucial British High Court judgement which cost this nation several millions of foreign currency?
God help this once great country!
