HOWEVER, IT IS MY CONSIDERED VIEW AND OPINION THAT OF LATE THE WORD "CITIZEN" IS NOW BEING USED INSTEAD OF "THE PEOPLE" THAT IT IS PROVIDED UNDER THE PREAMBLE TO GHANA 1992 CONSTITUTION THAT "WE THE PEOPLE---" AND THAT GOVERNMENT IS "FOR THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE AND OF THE PEOPLE" BUT IMMEDIATELY THE "PEOPLE ARE SUBSTITUTED WITH CITIZEN" THEN A SHARP DIVISION IS DRAWN BETWEEN THE POPULATION AND THAT IS THE BASIS OF "DISCRIMINATION" AND THAT EVERY PERSON IS BORN SOMEWHERE AND LIVES SOMEWHERE AND MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE HIS/HER COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.
